if it stinks, you can trade it back in and use the credit towards blops 2.

Well, I got mine last night although I didn't open it. We can do co-op campaign too along with multiplayer. Did you get yours?

So how is the game is it worth it

Haha, ok more indepth:

It has guns and grenades and killing and stuff, but you do not play it like COD. This is a tactical shooter, you will need to move from cover to cover and work as a team. If you go solo, you will get picked off easily.

A big concern might be the 3rd person view. For me, the overhead cam was a little weird at first, but by the time we started the co-op, it was fine.

Kamea and I played one game of Conquest - kind of like dom, but with moving objectives you have to do (arm a bomb, etc.) and then defend for a certain amount of time. As I said, running out by yourself is a big mistake. Best to move as a squad and cover each other.

Comms can be an issue. Better than MW3 comms when that game first came out, but not quite as good as the current MW3 comms/Black ops comms.

After that one game, we moved to do the Co-op Campaign since it will teach us the different controls. The Gunsmith is pretty cool and I was tempted to start screwing around there, but Kamea was waiting, so we started the campaign. Beginning is fairly easy, plus we had two AI teammates. The gun battles were pretty cool, but we got tripped up on the first stealth part, since we kept trying to kill everyone and we couldn't do it that way. lol

Overall, for playing for about an hour, it seems likeable enough. It's a big departure from COD, so if you are expecting that, you may be disappointed. It's much more realistic and you have to be more careful about where you run, how you use cover, etc. Oh, and there are destructible environments too, so for instance the wall I was hiding behind slowly got chipped away as they fired at me. For now, I'd recommend it as a change of pace, but get ready to learn a new kind of game.

Yea so far I like it on xbox. I played with x30x Clan (Sam) and it was fun. I think it will be hella fun tonight with a 4 man co op squad. I have not tried the multi player yet but may try tonight. I am still learning the ropes on this as it has been years since I played a ghost recon game.

i like the game, it is alot different from playing mw3, like walldog said you have to use strategy instead of balls out running around. it's nice that you can use cover, and shoot around corners from cover, that eliminates the campers. getting used to 3rd person didn't take long, and i like the gunsmithing part of the game. but the best part is not having to hear about lag compensation, hit markers and no quickscoping. this game is definitely a good change from mw3, but that doesn't mean i won't be jumping back on mw3.

I just picked this game up yesturday. I will be playing it alot..Hope to see more ~30~ON THERE it is a great game love that you have to work as ateam more in this . Way more realistic.I use to play nothing but GRIT on the old black box.Played this game for years glad to see it come back to life..

Thanks for the review, especially the quick and dirty part:twisted: . I am hoping it is nothing like COD, sorry to say that I have a hard time playing that anymore. I may not even get black ops II when it does come out.

Might pick it up this weekend with the boss' ok. wouldn't mind playing with walldoggy and kamea again and any of the late night west coasters.
