| Hey guys, really like these things and like to share stuff that I think is cool. If you are not familiar check out survivalstraps.com. Great US company making cool products and supporting great cuases (LEO, Military, Wounded Warriors, Parameds, EMT and more). I know that we have big supporters of all on here so thought I would share. Wearing one of mine right now and it just came to mind to throw this out there. |

| My dad started making these when he got sick about two years ago. He sells them from his home through his website and through local toy stores (Kids love em) and gun shops in and around Houston. http://www.cypressparacord.com/ | |

| That's cool mwhop78. My GF got me one from survivalstrap.com. People ask me about it all the time when I wear it. I have a couple bracelets and each one is made from 25 feet of paracord. If needed, you can undo the knot and use the 25 feet of cord for whatever...hence the name Survivalstrap. If you use it they will replace it. |

| 550 cord is great. It's referred to 550 cord in the military becuase its tensile strenght is 550 lbs. Also called paracord becuase it is used in parchutes. Always have some around. I kept a few daisy chains in my rucksack and in the car. Its always getting used to dummy cord down equipment, hang a poncho, secure a load, etc... Very versatile, small, and doesn't take up a lot of room or weight in a backpack. The are dozens of ways to knot it or tie to make it a more compact package, and a lot of people wear it as bracelets or slings. Dozens of colors are available now. Used to be just OD green. Used to tie a set of prusik knot handcuffs with it to secure prisoners if we were out of zipcuffs. |
