Previous BF titles: Should I purchase?

I'm a BF3 fanboi as is fairly common knowledge. Should I buy BF: Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition for $25-30?

Naw! You don't have enough time to play BF3 and Lego Star Wars right now as it is. I recommend just sticking to BF3. I don't know how well the servers are supported for BF2. Hopefully, I can get on soon, but things have been very busy here lately. Maybe this weekend I can find some time to get on.

Its a pretty decent game but not on the same level as BF3. Maps are larger and more wide open. Choppers are WAY easier to fly and there isnt any jets. The destruction 2.0 feature of the Frostbite 1 engine is IMO better than BF3 as everything is completely destructable unlike BF3 where it seems some structures will stay standing no matter what you do to them. Classes are almost the same but assault has the ammo packs and there is a medic class that runs the LMGs with the medpacks. Small differences like no scope sway but much more bullet drop. Sniping is alot more fun in BFBC2 and the sniper rifles just feel more powerful. There is no ability to go prone either. One of the best features was the onslaught mode which was 4 players online co-op. Wish BF3 had that mode as it was a blast. I still have my copy so if you do pick it up i can run some matches with ya. Just make sure if you do get it that its brand new or you'll have to buy the stupid online pass to play.
