sorry response is so late. Yeah, that's the way it normally is with shotguns and sniper rifles. Even using the Barrett I usually get a hitmarker on the first shot (unsilenced). Shotguns I have to use striker and usually pop off 4 rounds to be sure.

With rifles and submachineguns, I usually get one-shotted as soon as they come into frame. Since I started playing again, i noticed that I'm usually getting into 75-150 ms ping games, I rarely get dropped into <50 ping games now. My setup is still fios 35 up/down, so i'm not sure what changed.

In that video (not sure why the quality is so shitty), I hit him center mass every shot. I was screaming into the mic, at that point I thought he had GODMODE on or something. Then I just pulled the power cord on the PS3.

Almost all clan games feel like I'm running in quicksand or the enemy has Jedi-like reflexes. I'll keep on keeping on though. Think I'm just going to grief teams with snipers and shotguns. My stats are plummeting in the two weeks i've started playing again. I was almost 200 games over .500 in W/L, I'm now about 40 games over. I lose almost every game, clan or not. I won't even get into KDR.

Hopefully something will improve when they change the party host logic. Even playing solo I usually get into 100+ ping matches.

I am now hard wired 40 up 5 down and have 4 bars most games but now feel like I am a few seconds behind.....lag compensation I assume. This game is what it is and as frustrating as it normally is I rarely have fun playing solo, these days I would rather just play survival mode than deal with the idiots.

This is why we play so much BLOPs. The mutiplayer is shit (lag) but with pew pew, sticks and stones, Zombies, and all the other fun shit you can do its a nice nightly break from MW3s lag comp!

I can get mabey 5 games in now before it gets to bad to play. Last night 30 kills 20 or less deaths and a couple 200-90 or less ass whipins turend in to 18-35 and a 200-180 win! And I had the best game on the team! Thats when the BLOPs came out and we took it out on endless waves of the undead!

yeah the matchmaking is terrible if you have a location diverse party

its obvious when you, me, jk, underpants, and jes all play - we're all within a few 100 miles of each other and the gameplay is always at its best

Yea thats for sure. When we play with guys from Texas I do good to, any time Dave, McMalice, or Sam is in the party connections good too, not sure why?

That's precisely why I gave up playing multiplayer over a month ago. It was just the definition of insanity. Every night the same. Perhaps one or 2 matches where I'd shoot guys and they'd drop like they should, but 90% of the time, half a second behind the killcam and 6-8 hitmarkers to get a kill.

It was either quit or have a stroke.

Here's hoping Blops 2 gets it right.

It looks to me that your first and fourth shot missed but shots 2 and 3 looked like they should have been direct hits but to not even get a hit marker... just goes to show why we need rent-able servers
