Gold Guns

Proud to announce I just golded my first gun Thursday night....the UMP45. Thanks to all who were there and helped along the way.

Now working on the ACR & USAS. I still think it's a pain to gold the guns...too much XP between 30-31. Anyone else got tips on how to do this faster other than using all the attachments???

OldSchool I just maintain discipline and keep using it even if it sucks (M16)... and believe it or not I found some guns that I really like during the golding process (CM901)...

The PM-9 is another story, I am going to just use it on hardhat and dome and use patience to gold it

I dont use the funky attachments, didnt know they help it along faster in XP, but if you cant kill without the attachments you like than it'll take longer anyway

I am up to 7 now. UMP, MP5, PP90M1, PP90, PM-9, MP7 and Scar.

Now I am working on ACR, AK47, and USAS.


Oldschool I find it easier to get the gun to level 30 and then do all the attachment challenges. It helps get through the 30-31 grind. Also did you know that it takes the same XP to go 1-30 as it does to go 30-31.

Biz, the ACR should be an easy one... the AK47 I am using now on my SoH, Stalker, Quickdraw class (regular AR rushing class for me) and its ok for that... I dont like it with marksman for long distance defending of flags though as the recoil makes it very hard to stay on target at distance..

ex: yesterday on Foundation, there was a sniper who just kept going to the top catwalk and shooting down toward C, I got him in my sights at least 4 different times, and fired 3-4 on target shots and probably missed 5 or more and got killed...

I used the ak47 a lot on my last prestige and really liked it so I working with that more than the ACR. But I am loving the USAS with damage or range. It is fun as hell running around dome or hard hat with it just destroying people. The rage mics are so classic.

I cant snipe so those are out... I may, however, go with the USAS after the AK47

The USAS is a freakin beast with Damage

i wish they would let me get my throwing knife gold. Now that would be sweet.

I wish you could gold everything. Imagine gold C4 flying through the air. Or gold trophy system.

That would be great.

Do the attachments give you weapon XP? I thought it was just gun kills that gave you weapon XP.

any weapon challenge you complete gives you extra weapon xp. You also get extra weapon xp whenever you get a payback, defence or offence Kill.

Nice good to know. I usually do the challenges as I get them, but I suppose it doesn't matter when you do them, early or late the XP still counts. And yes, 30 to 31 is a grind.

I finally am the owner of a shiny gold MSR .

Gold UMP, ACR, MP7 and G36. Striker is almost gold. I so fuckin wish I could goldenify my akimbo FMG9's. I could die a happy man.

Added the L86 to my list last night and I am almost done with the PM-9
