Buying bf3

I'm going to trade in a couple of games for bf3. I know maverick and scooby have it, who else? I. Didn't care for bf2 much but that was because i played solo all the time. Might have been different with a team, anyway I need a break from cod every once in awhile so i'm giving it a shot.

FPS Doug started a thread yesterday on this. He bought it and was playing last night. I was going to go on with him, but got in a great pub stomping run. I have it and plan on playing today.

Its in the tray now, downloading the update, then i'll punch in the multiplayer code, dlc code and i'll be good to go

Looking at the leader boards it looks like a bunch of us have it, played a couple of tdm matches and its fun so far. Only problem is i don't have a hard drive so i don't get the HD. I'll fix that, i need one anyway.

Ya thats the only thing that sucks and it cant be a usb drive either i tried for my son but it would only let me put it on my xbox cause i got a actual hard drive the file is over 2gigs

Hey guys let me know if you want to do training type sessions. We can make the x30x server private so you can get a feel for the maps and weapons. Also run the CoOp missions if you dont buy the kits. You can unlock some nice weapons. Most notably the MP7 which is must for the CQ maps.

We were playing on the x30x server, shame there aren't more people with admin rights...
I was playing with captaiun, tyden, doug, and missiler would have been on but he had to down load that massive update that takes 45 minutes. Definately nice to play something different

I'll add you and Scooby as admins. You're names will be listed on the loading screen. So there are no excuses from punks who break the rules. You will have the ability to kick and ban according to the server guidelines. Which are simple...no spawn camping/killing. Campers will be kicked for inactivity or to make room for people who want to play.

Awesome thanks, we had quite a few more that jumped in with us but didn't play because of the title update that takes an hour to download. Doug and i played till 130am last night. We need a full lobby, really tough with just a squad of 4.

Be sure to sign up for the Battlelog (much nicer than Elite). Once signed up go to Platoons and search for Over 30 Xbox and please join.

Mav how would we get a full party of 12 in the same game and on the same team and be able to all communicate, it keeps splitting us then you have to change teams and usually create a squad. If you have 12 people and only 4 can commicate that is an issue.

There is a "in-game" com similar to game chat from COD. We'll get it worked out.

1 MONTH : $25
2 MONTHS: $50
3 MONTHS: $75

Please let me know who is in for contributions if we have enough we can get a longer period.
