| Well... that time of year again folks! Time for that yearly installment of our favorite twitch shooter... COD... This year COD:Ghosts
So i'm curious...
Who will NOT be getting Ghosts?
I've been burned too many times by COD. The last two have felt progressively worse. Will I give it a shot? I'm not sure. I'm going all digital next gen (PS4 as if you don't know!) so with no (as of yet) option to trade in... i'm going to be more cautious with my purchases. I'll wait a few months... if everyones raving about it and the lag is gone... hit detection is superb... and...
Oh who am i kidding... it will never be "perfect"... but this will be the first COD since COD2 that i'm going to likely pass on.
What are you going to do?

| I'm passing on this one at least for awhile (like..when it's $15 used at Gamestop). I've got BF4, Skyrim, Halo to play. The multiplayer doesn't sound super different. As cool as the campaign looks, it's still likely to clock in at 5-6 hours at the most.
Unless the reviews come in and it's light years better than BO2 (which was my favorite in the series), I'm waiting. \

| Its an absolute holding pattern for me and may be passing all together. For those of you that didn't like BF3 because of map size, I heard that the maps on Ghost are way bigger with too few players to make it fun. The word of running around and not seeing anyone for stretches of time and taken down from a shot in the back leaves me pondering and what verbal trash talk is gonna spew forth about the game once everyone has it in hand will soon be known. | |

| I am in the same boat as daddio. Haven't planned on getting it until around Christmas time, but early word sounds like something that would cause more frustration than fun. If it is going to have gigantic maps then I need a tank. I will sit back and let it play out and I might test drive it at Redbox | |

| Large maps in a COD game are horrid! That's a complete pass for me if true. Killzone here i come.
Yeah... just saw Polygon's review... not good at all
(6.5)-"Staunchly unambitious, and the weakest effort in the series since MW2."
Could it be?... Is COD finally dying a slow death?

Could it be?... Is COD finally dying a slow death? I'm gonna say its more than could be Gun. I really think we are seeing a final resting place for this franchise with what is coming out so far from the press and the youtubers. Its a self inflicted death.

| I like big maps. That's just me though. I like the ability to move around the map without having to worry about running into someone every 3 seconds. It makes flanking, getting into position, etc. possible. Hated the small 3 lane maps of BO2. That was one of the factors that killed that game for me. Just picked up Ghosts so I'll give it a try in a bit. Hoping it is good so I can play that until BF4 is patched. Last night the game wasn't keeping my stats properly. Every time I reached level 12, it sent me back to level 11. On the plus side I have gotten 70 battlepacks. No lie. Not sure what is up with that game, but they need to fix it. | |

| well I was going to hold out until I found out today I can't manage the fucking clan roster (via the mobile app) until I play multiplayer. From what I can tell there is no way to manage it via the web.
Elite btw is going buh bye early next year.
I have to head into town today anyhow to renew license and plates so I'll pick it up (beyond my better judgement) LOL

| Walked into EB games at 11:57. Left at 12:05 with it. Lovin it so far, hit detection is way better, I can play core again. Only issue is some spawning problems but I love it. | |
