Over 30 history...?

I have been wondering how long the over 30 clan has been around?
I used to play on p3 (still have it, but loaned my bo disk to my step son) and i signed up for a/this over 30 clan right bf the p3 outage. After a month of the outage, I got an xbox, and i havent really played my p3 since, and never really went back to the site bc it was ps3 only then. I guess i am wondering if this is the same clan that i joined back then. Seems like a site sprung up very quickly with a lot of people joining right off the bat. Just wondering if this is what it has grew into...???
I started looking for an over 30 group on elite because i remembered about the ps3 over 30 group a few weeks ago and saw JK Steelers with a link to this site.
Any insight would help my curiosity.

Anyway, I used to go to gamefaqs all the time, and one day I found this post from a Mr. The1UrLookin4 looking for guys interested in starting a clan with guys 30 and older. I hopped on that as soon as possible. The rest is history from there. Sorry for the uninformative answer, I'm old and my memory sucks

I think it was in December of last year. I joined in January and I think it was about 20 or 25 members then. I also found out about at the gamespot forum.

The site is newish. We had another site. At the menu bar at the top is a link "Back to the Main site" That takes you back tot the old site you may recognize.

I dont remember when the Xbox side started. I want say shortly after Carl and Marsh bought Xbxs during the Great PSN Outage of '11.

I found this clan on what is now the MW3 fansite. The origional site is now gone. I think that was late december '10 early Jan of '11. Dont know the exact date for sure. I know we used to coordinate from a thread on that site.

That was like 5 years ago in BO Time.

Was just after Christmas last year. Still the same clan though.

At the top of the page is a link "back to main website". That will take you back to our original website formed in Mid January.

The1 came up with idea for an over 30 clan, he posted a few recruitment threads on various websites in mid December. We grew so fast that The1 started our original homepage in less than a month. We quickly outgrew our 'free' forum status and had to upgrade, Donations came rolling in so fast, I think even The1 was a little surprised at the way things took off.
Then during the PSN outage a few members jumped on the Xbox like crack whores on a sugar daddy, twitchy fingers and all. Which began our evolution into a multi-platform clan.

I have to say that I am very glad that the PS3 had an outage, because this gave me the opportunity to join all of you. I must say that even though the XBOX side is relatively small compared to the PS3 we have definately been making ourselves known on headquarters. 250-0 have been regular score lately. If this keeps up I definately will make it to 15th prestige by then. Just to let you know, how much the clan has helped me. I joined in June I believe and was a 4th prestige. I just reached prestige 12 level 50. Thanks guys for all of the help.

I joined officially sometime in mid January and was like the 30th or so member. Before that i remember seeing a topic on gamefaqs late last year from The1 looking for 30 or over players and i jumped at it. Never imagined the 30 would grow as big as it has. Honestly i wouldnt be playing BO anymore if not for the 30. How i ever had 30 days worth of play with randumbs in MW2 is beyond me.

I joined January 19th on the forum, but was playing with The1 and Shorty before that. The clan has grown large and it is great to see. I have made some great friends here and seeing the depravity and perversness here makes me feel much better about myself. Special recogintion to Manic, Shorty, and Rif and a big thanks to the others for that. I can see this clan continuing to mature and am sure some of us will be playing together on the PS4 and COD #12.

this is the geeky bit lol i was the first member to the forum back in the day lol (about 9 months ago ) and there where like 15 or so members before me .. maybe 20 not sure .. i think lookin thougth i was nuts , so enthusiastic an all lol but i new from day dot, i found what i was lookin 4 lololol get it lmao, i love it here and im sorry n8 if i scared your mind lol but ive made so many friends here that sometimes i cant hold back, and unleashed the deprived boy i once was lol

Me thinks Shorty's hitting the bottle again. It must be Sat Evening. Shorty you were the first clan member I played with and after that the I knew this clan was going to be a great place. I would have stopped playing black ops a long time ago if it wasn't so much fun playing with all you crazy bastards.

I remember that cold day in January where my wife saw me sign my life away and I haven't looked back since.

I too think this group is great, kudos to the guys who started it, great idea to get the like minded, somewhat older gamers united.

I don't remember much anymore. It was sometime around the turn of the year. As stated above I came across Lookin's post on Gamegaqs and jumped on it. Great opportunity to not play with random kids rapping, and gloating throughout the lobby

I think I joined late jan/feb . I was fed up getting ' hit ' on by 14 - 24 yr olds . Strangely enough they didn't seem bothered about my KDR ?

And then of course I got a few with the opposite reaction that were just downright sexist.....

So I searched for mature cod players and found you guys ....The Uk all being so very mature I immediately felt at home.

Like most of you I would never play Without clan mates now.

I have actually made some great friends here ... Love all you guys too

I signed up through the old BLOPS forum. I'm so glad I did, this place is great and it's so much fun playing with you guys.

I purchased Blops around after Christmas of last year after not playing a FPS since Halo due to my Daughter being born. I knew once I got the game I would make my "Safe" addiction but one thing was missing...the concept of the game that involved TeamWork and Communication...So the search was on.



IWhile trolling the CoD forums I found many clans that came close to what I was searching for but the only one I actually contacted was the >30<...and that was last March.



I played a few days, adding Clannies from all regions and then...something grand happened.



Shorty and the UK Crew picked me up and here I am being thrown into some beautiful team deathmatch chaos on Crisis...instead of running all over the place we owned a building to just piss them off and for pure giggles...in that moment I knew I found the Crew and Clan I wanted to be a part of...



I love ya guys...even the ones that need special hugs.

I actually found the sight through the top 100 BOs clans.

i havent been a member long, but this clan has made my gaming experiece so much more enjoyable, and talking with you guys/gals on the forums has made it even better, i have been working alot recently but my schedule is gonna be a little more consistent and hope i can get back on with everyone, and shorty im still waiting to play with yall across the pond, maybe later this week we can get together.

Found the site just a few weeks ago via MW3Forums (previously BlackOpsForum) on a recruiting post by Snowrider. The past few weeks have been my most enjoyable gaming since the game released. I've played the odd public random match at it reminds me more and more how painful/annoying it is to do so.

Wow. I remember just searching for a mature clan on The Blops forum, saw "the1" looking to start out this clan, so I just joined, the forum got started, and I just didn't realize until today how much it has grown. I need to hang out here a lttile more. I guess a headset would benefit me too.
