$1500 in gear to nab $30 worth of turkey hobbies lol
I can't say I've ever seen a decap shot before.

He was like 10 feet away right? Really? Is that a challenge? Just wondering, because it doesn't seem all that fair for the turkey.
And OMG is that an ugly bird.

While I agree in this context, there are many hunters who are not hobbiest, enthusiast or practitioners. There are many, I being one of them, that are just putting food on the table. I try to get in and get out. I would rather drink my coffee on the porch than drink out in the cold ass woods. Is what I do sporting? Not at all. I put out my salt lick o' death the day before. First good size one I see is going home with me.

To get that close to an animal without him smelling, seeing, or sensing you is Most of the time a true challange unless the animals are used to people.

Interesting. I'm sure, even at 10 feet, it would be at least challenging to get a decapitating headshot. The second one was father away and a good shot.
And I think there were some fake turkeys there too, right?

10 feet or not, hitting a 3in target with a bow is a challenge. I hunt archery and muzzleloader (black powder) for the challenge. I'd hunt with a knife and a spear and run down an animal like a native if I could. Regardless of the blind etc. That ugly turkey is a super skittish bird and you gotta be pretty damn quiet and still for them to get that close.
