PS3 Gaming Headphones $100 range?

Got any advice on this? Christmas is coming up so I want to put together my wishlist! I can't see myself (or my wife) spending much over $100 for these.

Couple things--I have a substantially large head. (To go with my 6'8"body at least).
I have a $25 gift card to Gamestop so it'd be cheaper if they sold them, but not a requirement.

I had the Tritton AX720 (think that is the model) for several years and liked them, but the mic which was a headphone style jack, finally died. I just bought the Sony Wireless Stereo Headset and have been very happy with them. Good sound, mic is good. Easy to turn mic on and off. I also have a large noggin, and these have plenty of room.

Yeah for 100$ i would say best bang for your buck is the Sony as Tek said. good sound and also pretty sturdy if you have kids around the house. Got them last year and have been very happy, They also charge on your PS3 I know with my Turtle beachs I was going through batteries like crazy.

I'd write a couple down. One at $100 and one a little more. Around Xmas you can find good deals. I've always had pretty good luck on eBay. We have both the Sony and turtle beach headsets. There both great. I like the turtle beach a little more. If your a member of SAMs club you can get the turtle beach PX21 for $69.98. Comes with a coupon to get the Dolby surround sound box thingy.

i have the ps3 headset also, and no complaints here. for the price you pay, you get pretty good quality.

Trittion AX180 about 80ish bucks, but the kicker is works with all platforms xbox/ps3/pc!

Yeah, I've had the PS3 headset for well over a year now and loving it. Very clear, good for all games, works for about 4 to 5 hours on a full charge and voice clarity is good as well.

You can get it from amazon for $81 right now.

Sony also has a brand new one called the PULSE. It's $131 on amazon right now. Looks good but I'll wait till the old one goes out (if ever) before I get it.
