any suggestions for a ps3 wireless stereo headset with mic

any suggestions for a ps3 wireless stereo headset with mic, I thought they only sold corded stereo headsets, any info?

Look thru the general discussion area (I think) There are a few threads on various headsets.
Including the new wireless Sony's. A few members have them, and have commented.

I have the Turtle Beach DPX21's. I think I bought them shortly after I started playing Black Ops, I had played MW2 but didn't use a headset for the game, I just tended to mute everyone. Now I only mute people that play music, are overly loud/offensive, etc.

I really like the headset. The sound quality is good, and it definitely made a difference with being able to locate/hear enemy players so much easier, especially when I've had Ninja Pro unlocked. One of the key features, which a lot of headsets share, is the ability to control Game volume and Chat volume separately with sliders.

The other reason why I'd recommend Turtle Beach is the one year warranty and generally good customer service. I have a friend (really, this isn't me!) who had a problem with the swivel joint by one of the ear cups breaking, and mailed them to TB, they repaired or replaced his headset. Even if you have to pay for shipping (I didn't ask) that beats paying another $50-150 for a new headset. Most of us don't have a money tree in our backyard.

[Edit: I know you asked about wireless, but corded ones aren't that bad.. the cords are long and you don't have to worry about charging or batteries decaying over time since they're powered via USB.]

TB customer service is good. I've snapped 2 pair at the same swivel and returned them for full credit to gamestop. Just save your receipt and packaging...it makes the return a lot easier. I started with the standard PX21s, returned both broken sets and just upgraded to the DPX21s. Good sounding set...full surround and mic monitoring. If you want wireless and money is not a factor, go right to the TB PX5s. I have a feeling that will be my next set.

TB is coming out with a series of COD headsets in October. You can get all the specs on their website.

I use the Turtle Beach PX21s. They are corded but dont get in the way at all. The nice thing about this model is they're compatible with PS3 and Xbox. Good stereo sound, mic monitoring, mute button, bass expander and separate chat and game volume. 79.99 @ Best Buy.

I'm considering the PX5s next but 250.00 will not make the wife happy!!
