Need my triple cap for Dom

I jumped in a game with Mikey last night just too late and ended up on the other team while he was winning his!!!! Dang it!!!!

Me and a few guys from elite roster 2 got it last weekend we started at 11am Sat & went on an 16 game winning streak. Matter fact the other teams never had more then 120 points most had 50 and few under 25 it was crazy. (PS This was my 10 posts na na na you cant cut me LOL )

ive done the 3 minute lockdown 2 times now....just got to be lucky i guess

We had a team that pulled it out this morning...our opposition was THREE split screeners. Started normal, then just straight steamrolled them. It was glorious. Really good communication, a couple people dedicated to certain areas and a couple free-rangers covering hotspots. Very fun game!

We did this yesterday. From what I noticed:

- you need to have approx 110 points and three minutes on the clock available
- UAV and lightening strikes are must haves imo (I was able to save the dom points twice by sitting in a corner, and placing bomb points on two dom points, waiting to click third when needed; I got lucky with a care package and was able to have two on standby...more people saving strikes increases odd of successs)
- 2 people per dom point; suggest all rush B, then one comes back to cap/defend home point while others defend B / rush other dom point
- communication is super important
- don't underestimate the importance of being able to predict where the other team is going to spawn, and move resources accordingly; the greatest threat to this challenge is when enemy's entire team spawns near A or C (lightening strikes are best way to handle this situation which WILL happen). If you don't understand how the spawn system works in Dom then ask someone

Last, you really do need some luck. Any halfway organized/competent team will be able to counter a trip cap strategy within three minutes. We got lucky by having a couple split screeners on the other team

Probability being what it is you'll get it if you keep trying. Be sure the entire team is on the same page before attempting a trip cap; its annoying as shit when one or two people decide they are running a trip cap stategy when everyone else thinks they are pinning the other team down and get surprised when they enemy spawns right behind them

Some other tips/options. Only cap 1 of the points in the first round. Just kill whore from there getting all of your streaks....save them for the 2nd round. Run higher streaks like stealth chopper, orbital, the personal copper. A couple people must have UAVs. Also use turrets and gaudians. Good kill streaks would look like these:

UAV, Guardian, Lightning (lower streak setup)....a couple people running this
Lightning, Century, Stealth......a couple running this
Lighttning, Century, Orbial......a couple running this

If you can get a team near full with these streaks, you would have a good chance of shutting them our in the 2nd round. And most important.....soft lobby .

Overflow......this is the best map for a triple cap......and it is EASY IF EVERYONE WILL FOCUS.

Go for the first half cap if you can on the map. When you see Overflow come up as the option then get ready for your trip cap.

The entire key to it being easy on this map is the way you can force the other team to spawn behind construction......I call this the shit spawn as it is near no flags. They will only spawn there if you have the alley behind baskets locked down. From this little alley the team can overwatch A and C easily......as well as sit in baskets which overlooks B.

Strategy is simple, grab A or C at spawn and then lock down the alley behind baskets.....take the other two flags from this dominating position and then force them to spawn way out there behind construction.

I got the triple with randums using my sentry to guard C and I watched A while the rest of the team camped baskets mostly.

Overflow and the alley behind baskets.......run sentry guns and choppers and uavs imo.

You'll need a little luck but it can be pretty easy on that map.

^^^ you know what... that's a great plan! Ive been trapped in that "shit spawn" and know how hard it can be to get back the alley. I'll have to try that!

Got it Today, Map was the one with the train, 3 on A, 3 on C and it was easy to run to B from either point final score was 190 - 10.

Nice! I know Rot King and a 1 or 2 others that didn't already have it, got it last night. We did it on Overflow in the first round. That along with express are 2 of the better maps to do it on. We got them triple capped and they started spawning behind the construction area....it was over after that. Overflow was the map I got mine on too.

i still need this challenge myself....i have ried a few times but have not been successful soo anyone that doesn't already have it want to give it a go this week sometime??
