important to those that changed their ISP DNS settings

In my ultimate router thread I mention a tool called DNS bench which queries thousands of DNS servers in hopes of finding you a faster one than the one your ISP provides. Chances are one of the top results you received was a DNS server from Level 3 Communication (4.2.2.1 thru 4.2.2.6).

I just wanted to give you a heads up if you're using any of those IPs for your DNS check your router logs. I noticed today they were shown DOWN. You may see an error in your router logs that says something to the effect of "DNS DOWN" or "DNS Not responding". As alternates you can use google's dns servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
