I hear good things(Ghost's)

Didn't totally understand IGN when the review said it was based on a COMBINATION of dedicated servers and peer 2 peer.....WTF does that mean? Isn't it either dedicated servers or not?

I THINK it's location based or something.  Maybe if someone gets some 30s from different parts of the country together and joins a match we can find out.  Wonder if they put you on dedicated when a group from all over gets together so that the connection is better.... ahhh i have no fucking idea... i'm just bummed people are still getting f'n host migrations! ugh

Update: Readers have pointed out that Guerrilla's use of the term "dedicated servers" isn't entirely clear. In the case of Killzone; Shadow Fall, the multiplayer is a hybrid of peer-to-peer and dedicated (as explained in this older post on the PlayStation Blog). Essentially, Guerrilla will be using dedicated servers to augment a traditional peer-to-peer environment. One user will still be the host, but the infrastructure will help to mitigate slow connections and oppressive firewalls. Whether this works in practice as well as it sounds like it will in print is something we only have to wait three weeks to find out.

IW is the same.

Never trust reviewers....play it and get a feel yourself.  For me this is easily the best feeling COD since COD4.  Far less auto aim and WAY better hit detection that MW3 and BO2.  When I lose gunfights in this, it's because I was outgunned or out-positioned....not out-connectioned.  Very fast TTK....could be good or bad depending on your preference.  The maps are much bigger than BO2 and MW3, more on par with MW2 maps.  Blitz is a awesome game type to play with a group.

Overall I this has exceeded my expectations, but its early.  I really liked BO2, but the lag comp made we want to break the game every time I played.  The hit detection in this game is as good as any COD game, right with COD4 and MW2.


Also haven't ran into any hacks.

And Gun - it doesn't really feel like any other CoD.  Not that is a bad thing - it's just different.

I will say this - I haven't gotten the impression we're on dedicated servers.  I drop a LOT of frames and the game in general is very 'bumpy' on the 360.  Have also had several host migrations...dafuq?  I'm hoping that will improve on the next gen.

It feels similar to MW2 for me....without all the BS. There were some XBL server issues today and some lag here and there, but I expect early on in games.

I agree hit detection and TTK is way better than Bad Ops 2. I also haven't run into any hacked lobbies and only a few migrating hosts. Im lovin this game so far, definitely enjoyable for me.

Still too early for me to tell.

I think my 3 months off from this series has actually gotten me back to liking this game even though I am rusty as hell.

I like the larger maps so there is some strategy to the game. Sucks that I will have the game tomorrow via Amazon, but cannot play it until the PS4 is out. In addition, why get all pissed off harping on the small shit, you know you are still going to play it. These games are fucking crack. I am going to stay positive and adapt to whatever game play experience we get. I think I have about 450 hours each in MW3 and BO2 and I am sure I will do the same for ghosts. See you out there.

Hacked lobbies are out there.. on the ps3.. there was color on the names and uploaded prestige emblems.. granted we backed out of the lobby.. was not going to stay in there.. fuck that lol
