Clan Wars Roster List

I have talked with many people that are active and we are all leaning towards a new roster so we can atleast hold our own in clan wars. I am not trying to do this to divide the clan. I feel it isn't fair to us to not be able to compete because of some not pulling their weight. Which is not a bad thing as some people could care less about clan wars and some just don't have the time to contribute. The problem lies with where it leaves those that want to win. We can not carry you due to the number of games and people playing against us.

With that said here is a starting list I am proposing for clan wars. If I leave you out I am sorry it isn't intentional just post here to be added. Alse we are open to combining with the active ones from the PSN side and having a mixed roster. Only very active participating guys/gals fom both xbox and PSN.

This is 40 people that I see as active which is a long way off from 95 on the roster. I may have missed some and some of these may be subject to activity level. The only way this will work is if people become inactive they get removed.

Please post if you would like to be considered or if you are on the list and don't care to be. I have talked with most of these people.

Now there is the possibility of removing the inactive from roster 1 but I am not sure it would help due to already being placed as it could take several clan wars to get balanced out.

Branching into two rosters is very tried and true,Maybe o30c could be made of "Try Hard's" that are all about the made out of gold W.lol and the rest a free time thing?

Yeah I'll be honest I wasn't sure about this idea but after last night's epic up hill battle to take a Search N Rescue node (only needing 6 wins) which took about 5 games to accomplish and it appeared we were the only team playing in the clan - it was extremely frustrating.  Side note Red went total optic ham clutch to get us some of those games!

I really hate how clan wars works vs. the previous objectives (caps, defends, confirms, etc).  I think using wins promotes more boosting than ever.  It also requires A LOT of real time monitoring, communication and collaboration.  If you don't have your phone or mobile device with the COD app right next to you - you could honestly be playing for not - cause we switched strategy / nodes target.

With that said I really don't have the ambition to play clan wars right now.  The end of the year is extremely busy for me work wise and when I get time to play I want it to be fun over all else and clan wars just hasn't been all that fun for me.  If Infinityward and Beachhead pull their heads out of their ass and lock down the cheaters / boosters (prime example look at the #1 guy on 7SIN2 he's got a 20.00 K/D!!) perhaps I'll revisit the idea in the new year.  Until then I'll host the Shenanigans roster

It isn't about being a tryhard or who is good or bad. It is about who has the desire and time to devote to compete.

At first I was suspect about splitting, but seeing how this whole thing works it makes sense.  As was said before, the "clan" option on Ghosts is all about Clan Wars and nothing else, so if you don't play for that purpose then what does it matter what "clan" you're registered under in Ghosts?  We're all 30's baby!!!  So I'm in for this, I like having some reason to play other than just hanging out, adds a little something extra to the mix.  I don't get nearly the time to play I used too, but whenever I'm on just tell me what to go after and I'll do it. (unless I'm on KEM hunts in FFA lol).

And my dumb ass accidentally declined the invite, so I applied for it LOL

This may be a stupid question but does anyone know what determines who we get put up against? Reason I ask is I wonder if my score per game from the hacked lobby may skew our whole roster? I think I'm still around 19k/game  

If my hacked stats could cause us getting put up against harder clans I'd be happy to stay put.

I'm in! I've enjoyed the Clan Wars. It's been nice playing different game modes instead of TDM solo or Dom 24/7 with Clannies. S&R was a blast the other night. Plus I'm sure we'll still find time for FNG Friday's and some shenanigans here and there.

No it goes by hours played and number of members. The numbers of wins needed for certain nodes is also determined by the number of members. Smaller rosters need less wins and get put up against clans with less members also. Your score doesnt affect anything because you time played is still legit.

I accepted you criptic. Really loking forward to the next one. Hopefully we have a chance now. It is great to have a huge roster but it just doesn't make since in this situation.

Please guys don't feel like a third wheel if you aren't on this list and post here if you think you have time to play and can contribute to the clan wars. It doesn't matter how good or bad you are, it is about being available and having time to play. Some rules for this roster will have to be set or we will end up back in the situation we were in. So if you feel you don't have time to play just message me. It is easy to add and remove people and it keeps it to where we can compete. In other words if you can't play for a while you are hurting your fellow clan mates and not helping them and too many people MIA will make it almost impossible for us to compete.

This is nothing like clan battles or MLG shit really. It is all done through regular multiplayer matches. So please don't come at me with the this is not what 30's are about. We are not excluding people from being a 30 or laying with us. All we are doing is leveling the playing field for clan wars and those that have the time and want to win or atkeast have a chance to win.

I'm down for this *conditionally* that this does not become about "being good enough" (which I know is not the intent), but simply about being online actively playing and *wanting* to be a part of the effort, realizing that part of this means sometime playing game modes that are not your forte but giving it "the good college try" anyways.

Also, I'd like to address the issue of proper etiquette in parties by proposing the idea that, with the exception of an occasional slip, clan war roster membership (not >30< membership) be conditional on maintaining good etiquette. Competition can bring out an edge in anyone by it's very nature; however, some lack the discretion and maturity to not take it out on their peers. Candidly, this type of behaviour ends parties when suddenly "everyone is done for the night". Having 5 players sign off because 1 couldn't control themselves is self-sabotage. I recognize that this part is a bit of a "can of worms" and hope we can have a reasonable discussion about it.

Also, I don't see why we can't have a cross-platform clan wars roster; no, we can't play cross platform but if we had 80+ active competitors across both platforms how that would be much different (from clan wars perspective) from 80+ on one platform...

I continue to enjoy playing with this group and Clan Wars has added a new element. It's definitely not for everyone and I think that's OK. I joined the 30's because it gave me a place to enjoy the company of mature (OK, not THAT mature :-) gamers without the constant trash talk of the kids AND because the group is not TOO SERIOUS about winning / KD at all costs. I think we can still maintain these principles even with the addition of Clan Wars. We just need to make sure that we are keeping our friends lists full and that we continue to invite ALL 30's into lobbies and parties even if they can't make the time commitment that Clan Wars seems to require. I am blessed with a little free time in the evening - my kids are older and sport season is over - so I'll play as much as I can. However, I'm always available to play with any of you derelicts if you need a meat shield on your team.
