Looking forward to this one coming out. Was surprised that they went into the future on this one. I hope they bring over the Stalker perk from MW3 which I have grown quite fond of and would have a hard time not using.

DAMN! I cant wait! That looks like its gonna be crazy ass fun. I always play the story so that looks like hours of fun! MW3s story is good too if youve never played it. Robot Zombies anyone?
Before MW3 came out, there were tons of rumours about a futurific CoD game and the internet ran wild with speculation it would relate to MW3 and how it could have been "just talk".
And here we are a year and a half later and low and behold, a futuristic CoD in the form of Blops 2.
I for one will be happy with a bit of future technology just not quite as far ahead as say Crysis 2.
I'll also be thrilled (kind of like Blops) to leave behind hopefully 75% of our maps/story playing out in the Middle East and the dusty brown maps.
Oh, and I want a stampeed of horses as a killstreak please. They can call is Mustang Masacre.
From woodys last video it looks like we should get a good amount of info on the multi player in July at COD elite which is rumored to be held at the staples centers. We might even be able to get some 1st hand reports from some of the 30's from LALA land.

Interesting that they continually mention Moore's Law and that technology is ever increasing. So I don't see SOME of the stuff in the trailer as too far-fetched or Halo-ish. Looks like there are no beam weapons or anything like that. There are already VTOL aircraft, drones, etc. They are already talking about robotic flying insects, etc. So I think a lot of it is close, or could be close if the resources we put to making it happen.
Now the mech on the other hand... don't know about that. lol
Overall, the trailer looks great. I like the guy shooting around cover, hope that makes it into the game. Can't wait to see more. Really liked Black Ops, both the campaign and the multiplayer. MW3 is ok, but BO2 looks like it's might be trying some new things, so I guess we'll see.

I preordered mine today at Gamestop also. Got a huge poster, along with some codes on the receipt. One for a free MW3 prestige token and one for the free poster and 3 more future pre-order bonuses (classified)
I'll be happy if the lowest tech piece of weaponry in the games, the knife, isn't the most powerful weapon in the game. Think about it, you can get a hit marker with a Predator, but a knife will transport through bullets and kill you with one shot!
You folks aren't gonna wait for the Hardened or Elite Editions or what ever they will call them? Right now if I pre-order I only get a $10 GC. I have a feeling I will save more than that if I hold on for a bigger package.

I didnt know you had to wait? MW3 is the first cod (or any game) ive played online and i was late to the party. I would like to get the one that comes with elite and save myself some money. Im no noob to mw3 anymore but this pre-order and harden shit is still all new to me lol

Somewhere they said you will have this iron man like wrist thing that shoots tiny rockets, hope that replaces the knife, for now anyway.

I asked the GS manager about the hardened/elite and he said when they are announced I can just go and change my preorder to those editions if I want.

At least it isn't too sci-fi (except for those mechanized tanks), but I thought that the Treyarch titles were based on historical periods and the IW titles were based on modern/current period...does that mean MW4 will be laser beams and jet backs...ugh
