I have noticed that some of you guys, by your converstation and game play, seem to have played long enough to know each others strategies .

Is anyone interested in showing me some of the different strategies for different maps? Plus any other tips on gameplay?

I do not have any real SET times that I play because each day is different for me. But late at night (10pm pst) is almost always open.
Sometimes I can jump on in the morning, and sometimes the early afternoon.

I am thinking along the lines of if one of the senior (not age but game skill) guys sees some of us on they could ask us if we want to practice/scrim.

It doesn't have to be a long practice/scrim and just covering one map at a time would be helpful.

I know I put this in the WC&C section but it is really open to everyone.

I'd like to jump in if it happens to get set up. I usually finish middle of the pack but I could use some pointers to improve my game play. I'd love to be able to move beyond napalm in my killstreaks.

Canis- we dont do any set practice at this time. That is not to say you could not set one up if you wanted to.

What I recommend in place of practice is to spend time in theater mode. Look at the guys ion the team who scored major points, or got the most defends/plants/caps/flag returns or whatever. Follow them for a game to see what they do and how they do it.

I also recommend looking at the opening runs of most Dom games we play. See who has 1st blood. What does he/she do to get it?

Where do people lay when they get caps? What area do they cover? When covering that area where are they looking? Want to learn how to control the hut over B on Jungle? Watch the vids. So a stud gets 2 chopper gunners in a one match? Watch the vid as see how he does it.

One of the strengths of the clan is that we don't really run specific strategy. We play roles and try to fill the roles as best possible. Cappers, Midfielders, and Slayers. The Dom teams that go on those 20 game streaks will have some sort of combination like this. The flexibility of the strategy is what makes us good IMHO.

I did benefit from Dave_97365 ( not his real name, but I cant remember the numbers after his name). He was able to show me some opening runs and some decent spots to control hgh traffic areas. If I am on let me know and I can show you some things. I am no stud, but I feel I understand the game well enough to share the concepts.

With Dom, if you play enough games with the clan you will start to see patterns emerge. Even randums do the same thing over and over. The best way to learn is to play and learn from your mistakes and remember where and how someone took advantage of you. Use that tactic when the tables have turned.

When defending a flag take note of where someone was that it was harder to see them. If it was hard for you to spot them, it'll be hard to be spotted.

Like B on jungle, everyone always looks around the barrels for the other guy. Got under the hut and lay down near the grass. This will buy an extra second because that is not where the enmey will look first. Also you are hidden from the hut above. Cap A by getting as close to the cliffside as possible and laying down, you will blend in with grass and rocks.

Learn the arc of your nades. If you understand the arc and distance of the nade you use, you can defend flags from greater distances. On firing range I can nade B from almost anywhere except the firing range and past the bathrooms at that spawn point. Jumping while tossing can increase the distance of the throw.
