Black Ops 2 Thoughts So Far

I did well against bots lol. Multiplayer is kicking my ass. I would stream but I dont want to embarrass myself lol. I hope the connection gets better. I do ok in hardcore but in core it seems like my BB gun against their SMG or Assault Rifle. I have been enjoying the bots more than multiplayer. Sometimes in hardcore I can fire 5 seconds before someone and then I get instakilled. Hope it gets better with more people as right now there are roughly 45000 people online.

This game sucks ass. The campaign lags, the game lags and has hit markers. It doesn't start a match where there are 12/12 people in a lobby or for a long time. It says "need to find more players" Once it gets down to 10 it magically starts. Positive note..the graphics are better.

The only bad thing I have to say about the game is the ridiculous time it takes to get a game started. Most of the time it's better if you're solo -- but if there's a party be prepared to wait (after the playlist update today it picked up a bit though). Otherwise, to me, the game kicks serious ass. I was afraid it'd be like BLOPS where I couldn't see people unless they were blatantly in view - definitely not the case. Graphics are great & allow for you to see people fairly easily.

I was in a party of 4 and it took forever to start a game. When I played solo I was able to play pretty quickly. Could the servers have problems trying to set up games with parties?

match making has been lightning fast for all the parties I've been rolling with

when I tried to find one myself (being party leader) it was taking forever but that's no different for me and any other COD game

i think the graphics are better - for the most part hit markers are showing up but the game will say I'm 3 bar'ing it and I'm losing gun fights that would typically reflect a 1 or 2 bar in mw3.

i heard the ksg was bugged - no hit markers - i tested this last night in combat training and I'd say it has to be true. It seemed to be prodminately when I was hip firing the weapon I'd be point blank and not get any hit markers - the shot would go thru the bot. But if I ADS it certainly worked better. Who knows if this happens with other guns and to what degree. Just something to think about.

Overall I like the game a lot and having a really good time playing it.

I have only use the shotty a few times but I found this interesting and might speak to some issues you have had with it

From my whole 40 minutes in so far I will say that the graphics are better. Assault rifle that I have is garbage. MP7s are abundant. Still working my way through the learning process. My KDR should be deep in the toilet by the time I get used to this game and I will most likely not be able to get back to a 1. That being said, I find it refreshing, maybe because it is new. Time will tell but I will play on.

nuke - i noticed the same thing with shottys and ADS i didnt know it was THAT big of difference however
