| I just thought of another. Probably one of the best "new" thriller/suspense movies!
"I see dead people, and they don't even know that they're dead"
That's right. The Sixth Sense. This movie to me was badass awesome! |

| Human centipede FTW! Apparently they are making 3 of them and the next 2 are probably gonna suck because the director is trying to go over the top and make the worst movie ever. He said " #2 will make #1 look like a Disney movie" |

| Also not a horror movie but awesome gore similar to dead alive/brain dead is Hobo With A Shotgun. It's made to look like an 80s flick, with the cheesy music and it's shot in Technicolor, so it looks awesome. Check it out for some good laughs! |

| Oh I agree human centipede sucked and was disgusting. That's the kind of stuff my wife wants to watch on netflix. The whole "somebody told me that somebody told them it was ok" kind of thing! So I watch a lot of shitty movies! No pun intended....well maybe a little. LoL |

| Ohhhh! Hostel. Yeah I kind of dug that movie. A lot of people I know think it was garbage, but it was a pretty cool concept. And some of that shit is nasty. - Quote :

HAH! As for Blair Witch, I remember hearing the radio commercials for it (I was driving a truck when it came out) and thinking "That is WILD". Then I found out it was fake before I saw it.. Kind of ruined the whole thing. I will say though, I saw Blair Witch 2 just for kicks. It was actually not bad in my opinion. Better than the first one. |

| Human Centipede. Half genius half crap half lol. Silver Bullet! Good one OutlawGirl. When I first saw Ringu I was freaked to answer the phone. Still haven't said "Candyman" three times in the mirror. I also recently saw Hobo With a Shotgun, pretty good trash-esque but needs more skin to pull it off entirely. Zombie Stripper I didn't like. Here's a few that haven't been mentioned that are worth seeing, I've linked the ones that are must sees: Sick Girl (B movie, but very twisted) MARTYRS (gore, torture) Trouble Every Day (disturbing, that is all) Død snø (Nazi Zombies!, already mentioned but worth repeating) Suck (Canadian vampire rock band comedy) Run Bitch! Run! (80's style B trash, recently made) Street Trash (real 80's trash) The Reaping (i found it scary) Drag Me To Hell Here's a wee clip from Sick Girl Other stuff to check out would be the Pinky Violence series but just by mentioning it this post should be in the NSFW area.

"The Secret of Esrever"Much like the first Blair Witch, Book of Shadows also featured a marketing gimmick, although this one centered around the film's video release, fully exploiting video technology. The DVD and VHS releases came with a featurette detailing "The Secret of Esrever" ("Esrever" is the word reverse spelled backwards), a number of near-subliminal messages in the form of hidden words and images that were placed throughout the film. The featurette encouraged viewers to watch certain scenes in reverse and/or frame-by-frame in order to decode the "secret", and, through scrambled letters flashed throughout the program, offered five clues to where they could be found: "door", "water", "mirror", "rug" and "grave". An example of these messages can be seen in a scene early in the film where the main characters are in a graveyard, standing behind a tombstone inscribed with the word "Treacle". The shot briefly cuts away and then cuts back, though the same tombstone now reads "Further". This is seen for approximately one second until it cuts away again, and the tombstone once again reads "Treacle" for the remainder of the scene. When all of the clues were identified, the hidden words, when put in the correct order, spelled out "seek me no further", plus an extra hidden word, "or". Viewers could then go to the official Blair Witch website and type the words into a special search box: typing "seek me no further" would play an extra scene from the movie, and typing "seek me no further or" would enable them to add their name to a list of people who had also decoded the message. As of 2008, this function is no longer available. | |

| Some great movies mentioned on here. I too loved the classic Hammer Horrors, I remember lying on the couch by my mum pretending to be asleep so i could watch Dracula etc haha. Loved the earlier Nightmare on Elm Street. Candyman was ok. Chef Alien and Aliens were great. Also the Omen series. Oh and Saloms Lot was pretty cool too.
I recently watched a movie called Devil, About these people trapped in a elevator. One is the Devil oooooh. It was really good whilst aslo being a little s**t. Anyone see it? |
