| First funny car tricks and now a new blogpost by Winicott. Wonderous friday indeed. The only thing that would top it is a WC KotW victory!
Treyarch has definately removed any doubt about hit detection and lag, opting to make it very obvious which team has the advantage. If you get slaughtered this game and don't like it? Most likely the next host will give you what you want. It will all be over soon enough.
I have not spent my days contemplating killstreak potentials of MW3, sort of been busy determining which protection zone will trip the transmission line for a given fault and trying to master the nuances of VHF/UHF radio repeaters. Not sure which is more complex at the moment. Good thing is we have teammates capable of running BB/CG/Woof killstreaks and succeeding. Those more prone to racking up assists and caps can fill in the back end and help lead us to victory. I hope we don't get stuck in a DOM rut when the new game comes, the new TDM seems more objective based, and we are known to PTFO. |

| Another good read Winni.
I am not to worried about the streaks. The prob in MW2 was the awesome secondaries, no one carried stingers. I think our clan will clear the skies promptly, ruining the killstreak stacking power. In the support catagory, if someone chooses to go jug, you know they will not be releasing constant SP's. They will probably get thru the cycle once if lucky.
I agree the new Kill Confirm mode looks like it'll be fun. The beauty of Dom is that -KDR players can contribute to the team effort. When in TDM -KDR hurts the team. And some guys don't feel good about hurting the team effort. In dom they can go neg but still cap flags, run interferance, shoot down air support and their KDR does not matter to much. While there are some slayers, there are also some -KDR guys that thru teamwork can still be good for the team. I think that is why many of us gravitate towards Dom. Just got done with a few rounds of HC dom, LOVE IT!!!wish SC was still banned tho. |

| I too think MW3 killstreaks will be fine and that the set up of MW3 is better suited to this clan. I have been playing some MW2 and am enjoying the no lag, easy hit detection that I missed so much. In response to the zombie apocalypse I sure vote for slow dumb ones. Your belief that stronger marriages have been brought down by pettier (sp?) arguments is a good one. I also recommend the old "Does the toilet paper roll go over or under" argument. |

| You worry too much.....
Until we all have the game nestled in our ps3s will we be able to judge the ups and downs of MW3...as for me I'm just excited beyond comprehension that we will be diving in deep altogether. |

| Absolutely. That is the most exciting part about the upcoming MW3. It is new, fresh, and exciting and I will be going in with clan mates so I won't get raped in the beginning. Can't wait. |

| Great read wini.
I was glad I made it in the post lol. No I have had the same thing with killing people on here lose most 1 on 1 even when I get the first shots off. But the last couple nights I have had some good games.
I had to laugh about the wife thing to. When my g/f sits next to me watching me play she always is commenting everytime I die.
But as far as MW3 goes I am ready for it to come out. I have the same fears as you, but I figure with the clan to back us up it's in the bag. |

| As always a good read Wini. I honestly dont know what to expect gameplay wise in MW3 from myself. BO and MW2 were light years apart for me when it came to how i play. MW2 i ran alot of cold blooded(ghost) with anything slienced trying to flank or get behind the enemy. I did a ton of "hardscope" sniping as well. I ran very low killstreaks like 3,5,7 and i never really racked up the big bodycounts like i can do in BO. I dunno maybe its cause i only played tdm and was solo the enitre time. BO on the other hand im looking to destroy anything i see and im just flat out more aggressive. I run the higher killstreaks only cause i feel i can get them every match. My opinion has always been if you cant get to your killstreaks every game then you have them too high. COD is so killstreak driven and so many times games are won from single streaks. Proof is in MW2 i had 30 days of play with almost 60000 kills and BO i have around 22 days played with almost 78000 kills. |

| Wini, I will now need to check out your blog. Very well written! I think Manic and Nathan have the right of it. Going into this with the clan is going to be a blast. Nixon running ghost? I hope that the game gives everyone the ability to adapt their play style to suit their main role in the game; having a good time. An idiot with a Juggernaut streak is still an idiot. Most importantly, stay prepared. Your wife may roll her eyes when you mention zombie apocalypse now, but they will glisten with tears of love and pride as you blast your way though in order to get the family to safety. |

Great read Wini. |

| yeh im just gonna come out and say it, I will be that annoying SOB at B with jugg on just because I like being that annoying little prick in the same way I like tubing and second chance. I feel that especially in a team full of clan members I annoy the other team that much and fuel their need for revenge kills, that I can let the flankers go to work on them whilst they run to B with there blinkers on thinkin im gonna get that noob tubing second chance asshole |

| I'm right there with Dave. I love being that annoying prick who pisses the enemy off and gets them so enraged that all they do is come looking for revenge kills. This takes them away from the objective so we win, allows the flankers to rack up the big tasty killstreaks, and I have a good laugh. The only thinkg that suffers is my KDR and since I don't really give a crap about that all is well. |

| Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoy it.
I think that there is a lot to be said for the new killstreak system, I am stoked that mediocre B slaves like me now have a greater chance to participate in the game. What I am concerned with is that now the game will be a servant to the killstreak, as now it will be a race to who can get there first. I agree with Nixon, one killstreak can change the whole game. We are running a close match and then all of a sudden there Dogs are called in we know then that we are sunk.
18 points for Jugg seems like not that much. By mid game I have 10 kills, 3 defends and 3 caps I am almost there. On a good game where I have 25 kills and 6 defends and 4 caps I likely have cycled 2 times. Based on the high end killstreak I am running this seems like I will get a lot. I could be popping 2 blackbirds/steath bombers a match if caps and defends count towards KS. We will have to see how it is counted in the match to know for sure.
Does the 5 KS Juggernaught perk overwrite the perks that they players have picked, or do you get to have them both at the same time? If you are running ghost and then all of a sudden I replace it with Jugg… I imagine people may be a little displeased about that.
If I run 4, 5, 8 KS then that is 2-4 SAM turrets in one match, There will always be a UAV or CUAV up. Secondaries will be anti aircraft all day long and the SAM will be more valuable than it has been to this point IMHO.
Support Tier Killstreaks: 4 Kills – UAV 5 Kills – Counter UAV 5 Kills – Ballistic Duffel – Drop Juggernaught perk for the whole team, not jugg suit 5 Kills – Airdrop Trap – Drops a hacked care package 8 Kills – Sam Turret 10 Kills – Remote [Missile] UAV – Target enemies with missiles 12 Kills – Advanced UAV – Blackbird 12 Kills – Remote Turret – Sentry Gun that you can control 12 Kills – Stealth Bomber 18 Kills – EMP 18 Kills – Juggernaught Recon Armour – Care Package Drop Armour 18 Kills – Escort Airdrop – Same as the Osprey Gunner but you dont control the gunner or chopper and Drops 5 care packages, one will be hacked
Slow Zombies FTW. Fast zombies do not strike me as fair. Also the smart fast zombies of “I am Legend” are nothing short of zombie sacrilege.

| Zombies in 'I am Legend'? They were supposed to be "vampires" but also the new humanity with Willy Smith actually being the boogey-man
28 days later...not zombies...infected with rage
Just sayin |

Agree with Manic.. I am legend was really vampires.. not the mythical kind.. more like what they really would be if they existed. Fast zombies not being fair is LOL! If Zombies were real, that would be the scariest scenario possible. The only way slow zombies would be able to do anything would be if you were caught off guard in a room full of them.. otherwise just push them out of the way as you waltz past them. Fast zombies > Slow zombies. I agree to disagree. |

| I think the support and other killstreak style will help balance out the assault style ones as guys who can't string together 15 kills can die a few times (or cap a lot) and benefit from great killstreaks.
Someone else said it as well already that if more people carried launchers in MW2 and less shotguns, things like Harriers would last about 3 seconds. I run launchers in Blops on every class except my sniper.
Another great read as usual. |

| I always thought EMP was kind of lame for 18 kills. If it lasted the entire match, then, yeah..worth it, but in MW2 it didn't cause a long lasting effect. If the Juggs have the same fortitude as in MW2, they shouldn't pose a huge threat to a squad of 2+ guys. They were easily neutralized with flashbangs and 5 shots from an intervention. Communication will be key as usual. "Juggernaut at B flag!" etc. Think of it as taking out a chopper gunner in Blops. You hear "Enemy Huey incoming" and everyone whips out a launcher and downs it before it does any real harm. Best perk by far was AC-130. Three chaff rounds for protection and massive howitzer for killing 3-4 at a time when they spawned. I'm hoping there is something similar in MW3. |

And the fact it was a killstreak that was actually enhanced by a perk. The explosive round option on the AC-130 is affected by Danger Close perk. |

| I was a DC, OMA whore in MW2. My favorite was on Terminal or whatever the airport was called. The spawns were so predictable you could stand back and lob noob tubes into them for triple kills constantly. Then reload and repeat. Then hide with the predator missile for a few more kills. Pretty soon it was AC130 and game over. Got my first ever 100 kill match with that low-down disgraceful tactic.
As Wini also mentioned, I am very excited to erase my horrid KD and W/L. I managed to get my KD back up to 1.1 from a lowly .6 thanks to my kid trashing it before I gave him his own account. I have high hopes for a very positive W/L starting off clean with the clan. |
