I'm in Spartan! I just fired up my Nike+ app and was shocked to see my last run was....*cough cough* 23 weeks ago. Yikes.
I'll PM you my Nike ID

nice man!! I just wish you could imput runs. when i run on the treadmill I don't usually carry it so those runs don't register unless you wear it on an armband. oh well.

I got one of these so I wasn't limited to Nike running shoes which I've never been a fan of anyways. Works great.

To bad I'm not a runner, if I want to do cardio its going to be wailing on a heavy bag. Which I sadly haven't done in a long time. Need someone to do weight training with. I do exclusivley free weight training in my basement. I don't care how much I weigh, I care how much weight i can lift.

Haha, got your tweet, somehow I missed this thread entirely. Kind of a coincidence as I was sitting here going over my workout stuff in my head when I got it. Ya I'm in...I'm not really looking to shed a lot of pounds at this point, that just gets frustrating, just want to strengthen up my upper body and core a little over the next month and go from there...you know, the glamor muscle groups the ladies notice!
And Slam, I was 150 when I graduated high school, I don't want to be that skinny little twerp again

I'm still with you dude. Down 23 lbs so far but been lifting too so slower going. Don't care about weight just how my clothes fit and how I feel. I can finally fit into my rainbow leg warmers now so I won't stand out so much at the nursing home step class I attend regularly.

170 LBs lol...I weighed that like when I was in the 8th grade.
Ha ha. 8th grade I was 5' tall and wrestling in the 115lb weight class.
I was 5' 9" at least. 5' 170 would be pretty round.
I weighted 170 in 9th grade, then broke my ankle in football (healed) then broke the other ankle in basketball season the same year and i hit the 200's. I started and I am dropped 6lb's so far down to 288, Yea i know I am fat but working on it. You all have seen me before so no need to post it (plus i am sensitive mamma's boy) but I think I might get that Nike App Or Just start using the app I paid for which is Easy 5K with Jeff Galloway it is a pretty good app. it helped me get ready for the mud run last year. Since it is nice in AZ year around I really have no reason not to run besides being lazy and I hate it. Like most of you we have younger ones that we need to be here for and we want to see them become the adults we are molding them to become. ButItswasontheinternet-Spartan (still cracks me up) and DipshitSlam I will check out that Nike app and PM you if i get it. I should just get it so you two would keep me in check (like I know you would) I am sorry if my post do not make sense some times (prob. all the time) i am dyslexic but I getting better.

its all good man. Its all about givin yourself the best chance of being able to watch your kids grow up. I have not weighed myself cause i don't care what i weigh. I want to look a certain way and be able to do certain things. I'm a little crazier than most and want to get back to running trail marathons and hopefully one day and Exterra Triathlon.
I just wanted to bring this back, not as a comp. but as support/"its harder to fail when others are paying attention" thing. I think I'm gonna post my activities every couple days just to make myself accountable. Slam, I gave away a pair of custom (NikeID) Nike Free running shoes cause they were ruining my knees. so i'm with ya there. HATE nike running shoes. Now that you mention it, I do have a Nike+ chip somewhere. I need to dig it out and try that on the treadmill.

I've lost 14lbs by supplementing each meal of the day with a fruit or veggie smoothie in between - so eating 6x a day. Also doing 10 mins on the treadmill here and there throughout the day. Can't manage much more with my back. Been researching and may go under the knife for a 4th time not sure yet.

That's my problem...Back, knees, and most recently shoulder. All the stupid shit I did when I was younger catching up to me now.
Haven't went under the knife, but lately I'm thinking about it... either the knife, or Heroin.

Sith, if I knew what the fuck I did then I might be able to get that knot out!
Jon, the Nike+ app is pretty badass. I've tried a lot of them and Nike seems to have the best one IMO

Anyone use Runkeeper? I know Kamea and I are on it. It's good for tracking all kids of activity - running, cycling, walking, hiking, kayaking, etc.

In all seriousness I used myfitnesspal app to track my food and exercise. It's free and it works if you are true to yourself. I also use something called Body media fit it tracks almost everything. how many steps you take in a day your moderate and vigorous activities how long you actually sleep. I need to get back on track, I fell off the wagon in November and have been trying to get back on since the end of December.

It took me til 9:30 pm in the 28degree weather but I got my 3.5 miles in and my fastest 5k time. averaged 7:56/mile. Most of all I wasn't dying after. It felt pretty good.
