A hole in my heart

I am grieving the loss of my 8 year old daughter who went to be with the lord last week. I do not know how to convey the pain and anguish I have come to live with these last few days, but I am just now able to find the strength to post this now. I know I only game with you guys a little ,but I would like for you to see my babies obituary on www.legacy.com her name is Cadence Loren Tellings. I have people all over the world praying for my family now and could always use more. Please hold your families tight for me this xmas and give them all the love they deserve. God must have needed one more sweet angel in heaven to help him and I must say to my dismay he could not have made a better choice. Now she can spread all the love she had for me to all the world. I miss you baby girl and remember daddy loves you.

Oh my, I don't even know what to say, not being a parent, I can't even imagine what it's like! I'm so so sorry to hear this REF! You have my deepest sympathy and my thoughts are with you and your family.

I have a soon-to-be 8 year old daughter and can't imagine the pain that you are going though. My heart breaks for anyone who has to cope with the loss of the child, it something that I can't fathom.

Im so very sorry for your loss. My sympathy goes out to you and your family. I have a 9yr old daughter that unfortunately lives over 3 hours away with her mother and i get extremely depressed sometimes not having her close by and seeing her not very often. I cant imagine if i lost her forever.

Idref I cant even understand how you have the strength to write the words you have. It is the greatest fear for all parents that something might happen to one of our kids. My thoughts are with you and your family.

My God ID, I can't even fathom what kind of anguish this must be for your family. This is unquestionably the worst thing any parent could ever face. I pray every day that I don't outlive my children. I hope you can find some sort of comfort knowing that you will see her again. Our time on Earth is short in comparison to our time in heaven. She will be there to welcome you someday...until then I pray for peace for you and your family.

I lost my girlfriend 3 years ago next week. I know it’s not the same as a child but I feel your pain. Don’t lose faith. Prayers and thought with you and yours.

Something that helps me when I question and feel alone:

One Night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you you'd walk with me all the way, but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "My child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

so sorry for your loss IDREF, she is definitely in a better place with the Lord, i know how it feels to lose someone close to you i loss my mom in june of this year, stay close to the Lord and i will surely keep you and your family in prayer, God Bless you!

Ref I am extremely sorry to hear about your daughter, I have 2 girls myself and I would not have a clue haow I would even deal with that type of tragedy, my heart and thoughts go out to you.
