PS3 Matchmaking issues

Had a new update today and soon as I got on-line the matchmaking was screwed up. It would just smoke through open games and kick me up 75ping then all the way up to 150 till about 5 minutes later there was enough people to play. Got into a party with 30 guys and they got all the same thing. I read on another forum(shun me) that another patch should be out tomorrow(crossing my fingers, not sure how legit the source is) and hope it solves this.

Good to know, sounds like movie night or private matches are the better option until it is fixed.
