Face off = FTW

This is exactly what I have been wanting in COD

Stream and I tore it up with great communication and a balance of his camping and my gun-crazy rushing...

I LOVE this game mode!! And ZERO lag with only 4 people

I agree! The mode is great!!!!!!

I played some 1v1 yesterday and had fun. I like this challenge as you have no one to blame but yourself if you lose. You have to really think about your setup as I fiddled around with sitrep and dead silence. Definitely a cool addition to the game.

Stream and I discovered assault streaks are useless as so many people run blind eye assassin... I set up MP7 w/ silencer/range, extreme conditioning, hardline, dead silence, specialist pkg w/ slight of hand, blind eye, assasin

The reason is I figure by the time people pick up any killstreaks you have already hit your 2nd and 3rd tier perks in specialist or even better the specialist bonus (which I got in every game I think)

Uhh Team Tactical has been there since Ive started playing cod. So what you talking bout Willis'?

team tactical isnt 2v2 on tiny maps

These new maps are max of 6, there is 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1

I was hoping this thread would be about Hammer ripping people's faces off an using them to wipe the berries out of his mancrack on the new maps yesterday.

Oh well, it is now.

This mode is a great W/L booster as I am still undefeated in pub face-off matches, thus far I have played with Stream, Jager, and Fishboy and we are flat out dominating...

Dead Silence is a must FYI

For me I like Cage matches. So far its been nothing but Scrub Snipers challenging me to sniper only which I havent lost yet. Had a guy challenge me to a sniper match yesterday. 3 minutes later and him being down 7-1 he quit. Then I decided to pick on him via mail but he got angry and told me to go die .

J I havent tried 3's yet, seems like getaway could be too small for 3v3 but some of the bigger ones like aground would be ok

Lol aground may seem big but in all actuality people dont use the full map. All the action happens on the boat and the right path.

I'm undefeated currently at 1v1, haven't really dipped into 2s yet though. Would love to get into this more.

Today, in 1v1, I raped this dude pretty hard, so in the pregame lobby afterwards he offers to boost. I was kinda expecting that, but I'd honestly rather just continuously violate people and listen to the myriad of excuses as to why I won.

Isn't all of the Face Off TDM & KC? At least that is what I've run into and I find it completely boring. You get in a TDM match and asshats sniping from across the tiny maps. I played a KC game and I got the same result, but this time a victory since the asshats only want to snipe. Maybe I've been unlucky, though.

I love those guys, oh wait I'm one of those guys. I love randumbs that want to snipe only. They usually dont last a full game.

Maybe I'd have more fun if I had good sniping partner to protect me while I go spazzing. I can't snipe to save my life, so I'm forced to run around hip firing and drop shotting with my SMGs.

BT I think IW intended for this mode to be guys running SMGs and dashing around the map engaging in CQB...In reality only one map plays this way (getaway)...Aground is sniper on sniper action usually so assasin is a must so they cant zero in on your location using marksman... Erosion has a lot of alleyways, etc, but usually at least one guy is up on the sniper tower so you do need some long range weaponry... Lookout also has alleyways but theres a couple spots where people snipe from like the hill in the back of the map, the alleys also tend to be long so you can have some distance gun battles...

Right now I am using the MP7 with range on getaway and erosion and the ACR with marksman on lookout and aground
