Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta 1/29 - 2/14

The Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta goes live tomorrow for all Xbox / PS3 / PC players. I for one will be downloading and playing... the new Hunter mode looks insanely cool!!!

14 players are normal grunts while 2 players are Nano Suited "hunters"... fully cloaked and silent with one shot kill bows and other weapons. Every time a hunter kills a cell solider they respawn as a new hunter until only one cell agent remains.

Haha i know, right?! Well i'll be playing it for sure! The hunter mode looks great but even this KOTH/Hardpoint styled gametype looks fun. All the media reviews of the multiplayer gameplay have been stellar so far! People should DL the demo and try it out.

I'm downloading the client for PC right now. Hopefully it'll be done by the time the Beta starts LOL

Haha you gotta DL the Xbox one too so we can get a few 30's to play! Im sure we can't be the only ones who will try it out.

Yeah buddy, I wish all games were forced to run a two week open "beta" before release so we could decide if its worth our hard earned cash! I'll be playing Crysis 3 Wed evening if anyone else wants to join.

Downloaded it and played a match. This game is FAST. Lots of potential I think.....

im a little pissed its a 3GB download! this is gonna take me a while

I hear it's mad smooth and the movement around the map and aiming feels really really good?

It felt really smooth to me.

Map was like art.....

FPS had to be 40+......felt buttery smooth to me.....

I thought the nano suit stuff was cool too. Controls are very, very similar to COD only the bumpers are used to control the nano suit's armor or cloaking modes. Really interesting being able to turn invisible and then move around the map in short bursts.

I played with the base assault loadout and it felt familiar coming from CoD. Weapon swapping through me off for a bit but once I figured out it just cycled through zombie mode style (except it cycles though your nades too).

The map was really interesting, I think it was called airplane. I played the mode that is like hardpoint. Gonna be playing this for a few weeks I think....

Edit: Just played two games of "hard point" lol on airport and i've got to say i'm impressed! It has the smoothness of COD plus the fluidity and speed of (almost) Unreal Tournament or a faster Halo. Took me a game to get used to it but came out on top of the leaderboard both times and ranked up two levels in my first match. VERY fun! I can see this being awesome with a full team of 30s to communicate with. Pro tip: hit left bumper when under fire for "max armor" and you'll survive much longer.

I tried to find it today on ps3 but to no avail .I downloaded Dust 514 played a couple games and then promptly deleted it.

I have crysis, crysis warhead , crysis wars all for pc tried my best to like them just can't stand them for long !

Yeah it's free... cant hurt, right? For the first two minutes i was like fuck this... i gave it a match and i was impressed. Takes getting used to but once you grasp the armor abilities and how to fly around the map and scale stuff... it really gets fun!

Hey Nuke .were it at I searched crysis 3 like it says to and I still cant find the beta.

Smurf, it was in the PSN store under the Games menu

So far it seems like a pretty positive review from all. I am going to download it tonight or tomorrow to check it out in realtime. Sounds like a entertaining time.
