I know all Xbox folks have been playing these news maps for months (or another game all together), but us PS3 guys just got them. Thoughts?
I think I really like the peacekeeper, great at long range, not great in a short battle. Prefer a silcener to grip. Rapid fire is garbage on this gun. I was able to get 80 headshots last night, so that bitch will be diamond real quick.
I like the skateboard park the best, and Hydro the least. The Mirage is a huge map but really plays between A and C in Dom. Not sure what I think of Downhill yet. The detail in these maps are pretty awesome.
I'll be on tonight, see you online. Off to Vegas for 5 days after tonight.

I hated the peacekeeper at first, but once I understood how to play with it I now like it a bunch. My current setup is with the holo sight, long barrel or silencer, and quickdraw.
I need more time on the maps to form an opinion. Overall the maps seem like they play large. But that could be just my unfamiliarity with them and understanding choke points and common routes.
I'll see you online most nights this weekend and like yourself, I head out of town soon for a few weeks overseas and can't take the PS3 with me

I'm digging the the new maps so far. The scale seems a bit friendlier to ARs and LMGs and the number of structures (Downhill is fun) keep it interesting. So plus on that.
The Peacekeeper...though I like the look of it...I'm not sure about yet. It is certainly a not a "rush in" SMG and I'm not sure if the damage makes it a decent replacement for the majorities of ARs. I think if you like the M27 this might be a good option as I think the Peacekeepers damage is close to it and you don't take the movement speed hit.
Sergeant Merrell (particularly see his note on the fore-grip) & Chris Spooner had some good notes on it.

I was out of town until last night and just finished downloading the maps. I played a few matches with the Peacekeeper and like it a lot. Well it's time to play, see you online.

Despite being on the XBox side, I've only had limited play time on these maps too (due to getting absolutely fed up with the game a few days before the first map pack...).
I like the peacekeeper... kinda reminds me of MW3's MP7, but slightly weaker short range play. I find it works best using a 'close-range AR' style (move in closer than snipers/LMGs but stay in cover! You can't afford to get caught out of cover as most spray-n-pray encounters with the Peacekeeper will leave you dead...) Another way to look at it is "an AR with SMG mobility (move speed) and SMG damage..."
As for maps, my fav to least fav from the DLC set are: Grind, Hydro, Downhill, Mirage. Grind and Hydro are marked by tight laneways but still has the flexibility to get in-and-around the enemy; The fight for B-Dom on either of these maps can be INTENSE! Downhill and Mirage are fun too, but both are more expansive and favour AR/SR/LMGs and lend to be "less frantic" matches. (IMO). As I enjoy playing all gun types, I don't mind playing maps that force me to the "long-range" end of things... Sure, you can run a shotty or SMG on Mirage, but you'll be forced to stay in a pretty small area to keep your sight-lines to your weapon range...

After playing these maps more and more, IMO, Hydro is the worst map I have ever played on since I started playing COD's games with Black Ops.

The peacekeeper is nice. It has a permanent spot in my arsenal. Grind, Mirage, and Downhill are all pretty good.
Hydro sucks donkey balls.

I don't mind Hydro so much. To me it seems that the map packs of late i.e BO2 MW3 BO just seem very bland and boring compared to MW WAW and MW2. You play one to two matches on these new ones and you have seen everything they have to offer. I know the choke points by the first match. Once again a company just takes your money and gives you little. Thats my 2 cent opinion. As far as giving us a gun the Peacekeeper is Gods gift. I think I'm alone on that statement. I do however like 3arks maps over Infinity Wards. They throw a lot of moving parts in their maps. I think a smaller version of Battle Fields maps would be cool on COD. Less or no vehicles but same environments.

Hydro is my least favorite map of the bunch, I also hated Cargo at 1st , then after awhile it became one the maps that I get the most kills on, go figure. The Peacekeeper I like a lot, to me it feel's exactly the way it was described, being an assault/SMG hybrid. I've got a couple of more camo's to go before I get it gold, that said as soon as I get it Gold, I'll probably go right back to the Assault Rifle's.

I like Hydro, myself. I think Downhill is the worst in this map pack. Nothing beats Downturn for the overall worst map ever!!
And bird, 6 v 6 Domination on Shipment (Cod 4) is absolutely insane!!
