So me and the wife are looking at holidays for next year out of the blue she asked about the ballagio at this point I was suddenly interested in spending my money my question to my brothers from other mothers is any good any better any problems etc

Are we talking the hotel in Vegas?

yes were on about going for the week, ten days will it be worth the mega long flight bearing in mind the wife is a mentalist when it comes to flying.

7 to 10 days in Vegas? I would lose my cars, house and wife!

Bellagio is great . Consider the Venetian as well. My personal favorite.

Great vacation plans but, it would be alot more fun with out the wife though

i have stayed in the luxor and new york.

remember in vegas dave that all hotels are fantastic.

when i went i was told to stay in a lesser expensive hotel and visit and eat all the mega ones.allows you more spending money.

hell 10 days there is a long time.

i did 5 days there then went to florida for the rest of my holiday.

hell i want to go back.

It really depends on what you are looking for. On the expensive/luxury side you have they Wynn, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Venetian, etc. Hard Rock if you want hard core partying and massive pool parties (younger crowd obviously). If you want good solid hotels in the middle of the action on the strip (main street with all the activity) then look into Ceasars, Mirage, Treasure Island (all very centrally located). Further down the strip and all clustered together (in a similar group as Ceasars/Mirage) are Luxor, MGM, New York, Monte Carlo.

I have stayed in just about all of them so let me know if you have any specific questions as you get into it.

I've been in Vegas twice and stayed at Treasure Island both times. No complaints. There is a free show outside Treasure Island you can check out. Have fun.
