yes, you can go on the x30x server and practice all you like if no one is on it. that's where i had my jet practice with freak.

Oh and I'm a little confused on this whole server thing. Is it not like MW3 where I just go online and find people?

you have your regular random server lobbies, you can rent your own dedicated server that you as an admin. can control by way of rules. darkker is the admin for the x30x server. the best thing is you can control who plays on your server so if you got the mouthy kid talkin smack , you got kicked!

you go to the server browser in the multiplayer and do a search for the x30x then you save it to your favorites. but first you need to log on to battlelog on your computer and request accceptance into the 30 platoon, then you can carry the 30 clan tag.

Might have to look it up as Over30clan I think that is what I found it under.

really? That seems odd because the name is x30x clan server. . .

I think this got confused.

To find the server search for "x30x" in the Server Browser in game.

To join the platoon setup your account on battlelog and go to http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/platoon/2832655391313052531/ or under find platoon on battlelog search for "over30clan".

Finally since this is always the next question, to change your clan tags log on to battlelog and set them in soldier settings under edit profile.

And I have to play the game first, right? I tried to sign up now, but it says I need some email from the in-game menu.

i believe you have to play to get your game id number, then when you lod into battlelog you enter your gamer tag it will loadup your info into the log.

it is just like elite, you'll figure it out.

Walldog what version of the game did you get? I mean by some chance i hope you picked up the limited edition that comes with the first DLC free. If not no biggie as there are still a bunch of maps to still play. Then if you like it then you could always pick up Karkand DLC or Battlefield Premium/Close Quarters DLC. Also it might take a while to actually play since there will be a few patches it will make you install to make the game up to its current state. Welcome to the BF3 crew and see ya on the battlefield
