BO:2 Competitive Group

Hey all,

I'm putting together a more competitive roster for BO:2 on 360. There are no game related stats requirements, only a willingness to learn about the game and play a role within a team.

I'll be putting together practice sessions where we learn spawn points, lines of sight, common routes, and the best way to play each map. I want to reiterate again, there are no stat requirements. We want players who are content holding down objectives, not raging on the mic and using it for callouts instead, and who want to become better, more competitive players in general.

Depending on scheduling working, definitely yes. I could absolutely use additional practice of a more focused variety, and I much prefer teams that put the focus on the win.

I won't be the slayer on any team, but I care more about the W than my stats.

I just need to get the rage mic under control. I'll pound the snot out of some assholes with the LMG's all day.

Yeah that was odd not hearing him completely silent... then i realized... "oh that makes sense... he doesn't have a mic" haha!

Oh yea the GoodSuck K/D means everything thread I remember that one.

I am in if you need more players. I play with most of you guys every night anyway, why not learn more.

I look forward to more people understanding where spawn spots are, how enemy spawns become active based on team position, and how to trap an enemy at a spawn.

There is nothing more satisfying than having a team locked down while a loadstar/warthog/swarm is tearing them up everytime they respawn at their flag

Triple capping is overrated; everyone gets more points if they aren't randomly spawning behind

It's a shame more people, who are over 30 years old mind you, can't figure this out....some of the better players around here are hiding from domination play because of this (don't worry; not calling you out!)..

A little patience and strategy, with sound tactical execution, goes a long way

Also....i have started playing league (champions) a lot.

You can play solo league as long as your team has room for one random (up to a tem of three ).

You can be on multiple teams if you want to; however, I recommend only forming a team with players that get together at leat once a week for 2-3 hours.

Other info:
- it's all about the wins. Stats don't mean jack shit as long as you get a win
- use your bonus points !!!! If you don't have bonus points left, and you want to be ultra-competitive, evaluate whether you want to risk continuing to play (kind of like a tennis player or boxer...sometimes it is better to wait until you can make an extra 100 to make up for a couple of losses)
- don't be a fucking pussy. The pool of players in league are overall better han public matches. You WILL get your ass kicke from time to time. It sux...take it like a man and move on. Quitting is lame. Also, it usually takes 5-10 games if you're not ranked before the system places you competitively.
- league play will test you; sometime you will find that you're against a full team of masters (see last point!). Sometime you will play against all iron. If you beat a masters you will rank up a lot and them down; vice versa if you lose gainst a weaker team
- champions series play has significant restrictions (no uav/cuav/vsat/hunter killer/ghost/C4/betties/clamore/etc); TDM is normal
- coordinating classes, and making sure everyone can emp streaks, is critical to champions league success (as well as lob some grenades)

I see this and raise you "stupid". Triple capping ruins the game even more screwing up the spawns and spreading your team too thin.

Yeah it's fun when the team is constantly quitting or is compete garbage... but please please PLEASE ask your teammates first before attempting to do it! There is nothing worse than getting spawned behind because one guy on your team decided to go kill whore at the enemy spawn.

I guess we need to decide on who we want to play with and who we don't.
