| So what do people think is the best game type for XP? In BO, it was always HQ for me as I wasn't much of a S&D player. Anyone that's played the game so far, thoughts? | |

| Each person will be quicker in different game types... Objective games will usually get u more points than deathmatch games. I personally rank up faster in domination and headquarters. |

| Defender is nice with double xp to the team with the flag and if your the flag carrier you also get 20 xp assist points for each kill by a team mate. |

I think with some experience that Team Defender will be a good game type. Woody has a video on it that I haven't watched, but after playing with an experience clan (as a randum) and with our clan, I see how important it is to have a cohesive strategy. |

| Anderson I played with some friends last night when I could not join in any clan groups and we had two guys run juggernaut while I had the personal protection chopper with the flag they could not get near me. |

| Hq will always be the xp monster, but I wouldnt advise going in there alone. XP is really only good if you win. |

| HQ SUCKS IN MW3... each game is now 20 MINS not 15 like in black ops. This is my main beef with MW3. In black ops I would get 3000+ XP every time just playing the objective, capturing and defending 10+ times per game. Now it takes 20 mins and I haven't been able to get over 1500 points a game. I play team defender now it takes 10 mins and I average 1200-1500 points per game (yes i suck) but over 20 mins thats 2400-3000 points. ALSO in HQ you are NOT rewarded much at all for playing the objextives so I gave up on it. I thought MW3 was supposed to be better for the objectives based gamer but its worse. I wanted to be a support chain guy but get twice as many points NOT playing the objectives, using assault chain and just killing people at random. STUPID!!!!!!! |

| Search and destroy doesn't give you much XP (from kills or wins). Not even close to what BlOps gave. Kind of a jip, because you can only get so many kills per round. I'll still be playing it until I learn the maps better. |

| I am finding Kill Confirmed definitely gets me a lot of XP. For the first while I was mostly playing Domination, but in terms of points I am winding up with probably a higher score in less time on Kill Confirmed.
As well, as mentioned in another thread, if you run the Specialist killstreak, you'll wind up with a healthy boost to your XP just by getting kills. |

| Kill/Confirm is where I am picking up the most points too. Although I have not tried HQ yet. |

| Team Defender is where I am having the most success with XP. Quick matches, usually about 2K xp. |

| kill confirmed + specialist + hardline = good experience for every two kill streak, plus you unlock the pro perks faster when you have them active from being a specialist. |

| Yeah HQ xp got kinda nerfed, it's only +10 per tick and I average 5-7k xp. But it's still my fav game mode because it's fun.
Kill confirmed seems to be the best xp. Average xp so far I think is 7-11k per game using hardline and specialist streaks. |

^ Totally Agreed Super faxt XP and pro perks bonus xp constintly. I noticed that if I shoot down air support while using hardline after spawning, my kill streak begins and I get my first perk. |

Yup...you also get a "kill" counted towards your killstreak for knifing sam turrets and sentry guns... Oh...and once hardline is pro...assists count as 1/2 kill toward your kill streak...so you chuck a bunch of flashbangs and keep earning perks... |

| hardline pro and specialist will probably get patched just like in BLOPS when you could change all the crates, sam turret, care package, and sentry gun...
i bet they patch it so hardline will not get you a perk after one kill or some BS like that, but i will run the crap out of it until they do, i have always found that the killstreaks i just click and go work better for me cuz i like to run around and get gun kills, in BLOPS i ran nonlethal streaks alot.
@walldog just run around a grab tags, the kills are good but you get like 100 xp for each gold tag and 50 or 100xp for grabbing red tags and denying kills, you get 500xp if you grab your own tags after you respawn to deny a kill, i try to get kills but go for the tags as much as possible, you would be surprised how many guys kill someone and leave the tags cuz they dont wanna expose themselves.
good luck walldog hope to see ya online soon |

| Thanks Beckville. I tried the riot shield today. Went around trying to distract the other team and collect tags. That was kind of fun, but I felt bad. We lost a game 57-65 I think and I went 0-15. So clearly, I was the reason we lost THAT game... lol Oh well, sorry guys! | |

| using the riot sheild is fine, i dont know what level you are, but if you use overkill and equip a shotgun as secondary it works ok, if no overkill the FMG9 is a good secondary, even akimbo (insert pistol here) are good, i like the usp 45 low recoil and shoots fast, if your trigger finger is fast
the ARs work for some people, but im an smg guy, P90 is good, large mag size, but all the smgs are good especially silenced with range proficiency.
im gonna start messing around with the riot sheild alot more just because in game modes like team defender and dom its good to have a distraction like a riot sheild guy running around.
dont worry about the 0-15 thing, if you are using a riot sheild stay close to teammates, draw fire and let them get kills, you get xp for "crowd control", and if you die in the process they will grab your tags and hopefully kill the bastard who put you down, its teamwork and the riot sheild is not for massive kill games, i find it hard to even break even most games.
the riot sheild is the ultimate support role, take gunfire, get killed, defend objective, get killed, defend teammate, get killed, sheild bash one or two guys, get killed, while all this time your teammates are getting kills by killing the douchebags who are obsessed with shooting at you, the riot sheild is mobile cover for an organized team, not effective with randoms, because if you are not sheilding somebody you are not being a good riot sheilder!
