| Lately I have just stunk to high hell at this game. I feel like I'm walking into bullets. They could be shot not even near me and I'll just walk right into 'em.
So... if you've been my teammate lately... sorry! I think I'm going to try to slow down my play, and be much more deliberate. We'll see.... |

| Do yourself a favor on top of slowing down which is a good thing since you are being more careful and less willy nilly one thing you could do if you haven't already done this is turn off the automatic recording for your game play this has been known to help those who are getting hit markers and then seem like the other guy is shooting you once but in the game play you are much more behind the other guy you may have never shot the other guy due to the latency of the recording. | |

| Take a few days off. You will come back more cautious and your adrenaline levels will replenish too. |

| I need to try turning off the recording mode. Something, even if it's a placebo...
Whenever I run Support classes I play like a fool for some reason. Always rushing around corners because I know the deaths don't matter as much. I definitely sacrifice XP by running Assault with higher KS, but it makes me play smarter and die WAY less. |

| The slowing down and not running all over the place is key. At least it is for me. | |

| At one time when i went 20-12 i would get pissed because to me it was a crappy game. Now doing that is a good game! So yea i know what your talking about. Just lately ive started running pred-air strike-reper agan like i use too and i think what FBD said is the reason why i started to suck at the game. Running difrent guns and support to counter that i didnt know the gun made me a worse player. Just the other day i went 40-2 for the first time in a loooooong time, 3 reapers in one life. Why? I camped, kinda, just moved slow and kept to one area makeing sure i knew where my team mates were so i had an idea where the bad guys were at.
Make sure your haveing fun too, if you start to try too hard it can make you have bad games. To me thats what causes you to run into bullets. Rage, run, rage, run... gets you killed everytime.

| Each prestige, I've been using different guns. I get to 500 kills with one gun, then switch. It has made me realize that some guns are soooo much better than others. Next Prestige, I am scheduled to use the M16 and CM109...my 2 remaining guns to get 1000 kills with.
This prestige, I used only the M4A1, which I liked, and the AK47, which I like, but it lacks the ability to pick people off at range without a red dot.
I'm certain that if I exclusively used my try hard class of Scar with Ext Mags I would have much better results, but I like the challenge of using different guns.

| I share your pain, I run around like a headless chicken all the time. But when I realize it and slow my ass down, I play alot better. Also I found playing with a LMG helped because of the slower movement I was force to slow down my game play. | |

I couldn't agree more, it has the added benefit of when you pick up weapon to don't say: WTF is this? Shit!!

| Sometimes, like last night, I feel like the game is getting worse. We were shooting marshmellows, and getting killed by enemies before they appeared from behind cover.I went negative in 7 out of 10 games last night, 3 of them with a .50ish ratio. We lost 5 out of 10 and we had a pretty strong party of 6 for most of them. The next to the last game we got stomped 200 to 95 on Village, then on the next game we stomped the same team (before they quit) 200 to 109, I went 42 and 13.
My MO is always the same, careully advance and ambush if I'm trying to get an enemy flag and flip spawns, or move up and catch them coming out of their spawn if I'm defending. Some days it doesn't work as well as others.

I have been doing this too... Currently I'm on a submaching prestige. Though I looked at my stats and I'm best with ACR, so I jump back on that when I start playing really crappy. Next prestige I'm trying LMGs--might switch over sooner though just to give them a try. |

| Delta just do like me and make a noob tube ghost class with rpg and let you frustration out, lmao. But on a serious note i know what you mean, the easist way is to slow down and watch your corners before you step out |

| When I get more sleep I play better.
2 days off and I come back better...usually much better.
Did I mention sleep?
I try to run away more when I am shot instead of standing there and trying to outgun him. This is especially true when I am not sure where I am being shot from. Run and find someone else to kill as the person who shot you is likely to have tactical advantage on you. |

| Well I don't think it is us personally. As McMalice said sometimes we get in games and it feels like the other team has god mode on. I know Delta and I both used to be able to get 30 kills a game easily and have a 2+ k/d. I get so frustrated with it especially on my gold gun quest to get them all to gold. Nothing like running around with a shotgun and shooting the enemy point blank and it doesn't even give you a hit marker. I really hope they get this fixed to some degree in the next patch. My K/D has dropped .005 in 2 days. | |

| Wini has a couple of good points, however he doesn't play anymore so I don't why he posts here, (j/k you know we miss you).
I notice as the night wears on I am just too slow. Some sleep/rest goes a long way.
Also, I tend to just stand there and slug it out. It is stupid and I am trying to duck and cover more.
Last night my gun could not kill anyone so I switched to the ACR and my game completely changed. So I think a weapon change when you have the lag can help.
Plus, if you are slower and your not getting the kills that match I find changing strategy helps.
If I was running n gunning I will stop and camp more, shoot down aircraft, plant C4, use portable radar, anything to help the team.
This game takes more patience than BLops.

| I like to switch weapons occasionally, but I find that when I'm trying to get used to a weapon, switching to my try-hard class when it's not going well is VERY hard to resist.
I find that the weapons that i've stuck with through the adjustment period tend to be the ones i'm good with.
I took a couple of weeks off from this game last month and came back much much better, at least it seems that way to me. Accuracy and K/D going up.
The biggest improvement I made to my game was reducing my input lag on my TV. Most HD tv's have a "gaming mode" which cuts back on some of the visual texture quality but reduces the amount of time it takes your TV to display the image (real time is good, .5 second delay = dead). The first few games after doing this to my TV felt like Host Pro in Black Ops, GOD MODE!

| Slowing down or even staying back to defend a flag usually helps me. It can be a slippery slope once you start losing it. The worst part for me is if I am getting close to a support kill streak or I go into "revenge mode" trying to get back at someone who just took me out a time or three. That usually puts me deep in the hole and usually is no help to my team.
Trying to level up weapons quickly also gets me into gun setups that don't fit my game play. Unlocking titles and emblems is sometimes too enticing. I ran all of my previous prestige with an ACR, blind eye, assassin, and stinger (used all my prestige tokens). I may have to go back to that as I struggle trying to get recon and sun machine guns.

| I think we all have slumps like this. I am currently in one myself. A few things usually help me:
1. Time off from gaming (Extra sleep and relaxing with the family) 2. Swapping from which ever method I'm using ie, Rushing with PP90m1 to going quite and patient with assasin and a AR like ACR or M4. Sometimes I have to switch the other way too. 3. Change up from Assault to Support or to Specialist 4. Try different guns, except sniper rifles. I'm garbage with those things. 5. Watch video's of good players and see how they play, some good ones on here and youtube. 6. When all else fails repeat number one as playing too much doesn't help me at all.

| I think also its a factor of we sometimes go up against teens with better reaction time, or they are simply amped up on something.
It seems like some kids forgot their riddlin and I image them jumping around the room as they are playing.
I have watched my 12 year old grandson and I amazed at his reaction time compared to mine.
After all, we are on the lower end of the gaming curve.
