Amplify is very powerful, just remember you can "still" be heard while running Dead Silence via Amplify users.

I agree, amplify is a MUST for anyone using a half-way decent head-set.

I need to put it some more time with stalker though, as Slam said it feels like you've cranked your sensativity way up - but running an AR mostly in this game almost means you HAVE to run Stalker.

I find myself playing Squads more than multiplayer - not sure why...just seems more fun right now.

If i didn't have to return the rental that's all id play pretty much. It just feels more "fair". The connection... however it may work with bots... it just seems better. But shit... some of those bots are complete bags-O-dicks.

Drop shot bots, corner camp bots, quick scope bots, super fast knife your ass bots... hell i even had a group of 3 bots who "teamed up" and kept patrolling areas of the map as a little team within arms distance of each other.

Yeah, Amplify is the shit. Like has been said I run Dead Silence and Amplify together, and I've been tearing up FFA lobbys, my KD there is up to around 2.3. You can hear guys coming from soooo far away, I'm able to anticipate guys coming around every corner.

So hey...earlier in this thread I pissed on this game. Mainly that had to do with UI (mute, etc.), and the lack of out of the box character customization (would have been nice to get facial variation free then earn gear)...that being said I can admit that as of right now I'm really liking this game. There are still a couple of things that seems a bit off (spawn, grenades, OP dogs), but I think I can work around it. Overall loving the strategy and teamwork required on these. I would really make my day if they could just do something about the camping like random free roaming AI Drones, or Dogs if you stay in a single spot for too long.

Same here for sure. I learned to ADS constantly myself as well because it's all about being ready. It's that second that takes to raise your gun that kills you (unless you're gunfighting someone really bad). I constantly ADS when going around corners now. I run Stalker as a must and quickdraw (maybe don't need that now that I'm ADS all the time). I've been running amplify and dead silence too. They've really done a good job on the sounds on this game. I'm relying on sound (and being more successful) than relying on the mini map. I don't really glance at it anymore (get killed too much looking at the dot on the mini-map when I can hear the guy in the other room coming just fine).

I love this game. It is a blast to play.

So I've been playing the game for a while and I have to say that it's growing on me. Definitely a different style of play from the previous CoDs, so the learning curve was pretty steep. But I'm starting to have some good games and my K/D has never been higher! .85! W/L is hovering around 3.50.

Mostly, I'm having fun unlocking stuff and go for field orders. I've also been trying to get the KEM strike on the hotdog map. Nely stole my other one and I'll never let him forget it. lol

I'm with you wd.

At first, I LOVED the game - loved that it just felt different.  Then went through a phase of really disliking it at lot...mainly b/c I kept trying to play my old style of play.

Once I realized I needed to change up my style to be much more cautiously aggressive, it's really been a pretty damn fun game to play.

However, I think they've pretty much ruined Dom for me - it's not even close to the same game it's been on all other CoDs.  But, I can live with the other game modes just fine.

Now that I have some perks to keep me off of the sights of long distance snipers I am enjoying the game. There definitively feels like there is an advantage to long range weapons on this version of the game. I have played several matches where most of both teams are snipers, so I would say that others have picked up on this as well.

I HATED this fucking game when I first played it. I thought the TTK was way too fast, the maps were way too big, and the spawns were god awful. But since then, with the perks I'm running, and slowing way down on the gameplay, I'm coming around to the game a bit more. Sometimes, I think that the TTK is still fast, but I'm always ready at the helm. There are a couple of maps that are way too huge and should only be Groundwar maps, but with the right strategy, you'll get your 20 kills easy. Spawns are still god awful, but like #fuslam said you just gotta learn the spawns.

I still try to run and gun a little but definitely tend to slow it down on most maps. I feel like it's easy to get around snipers and get them in the back. Stonehaven is a good example. Just stick to walls along the castle and the broken walls in the middle and snipers never see u coming.

I hate Ghost! Mainly cuz of the large maps, darker scenes, crappy map (when not hard core) and all the CAMPERS! I'm getting used to it, but I'm seriously thinking of trying Battlefield 4 now and sticking only with the Trayarc versions of COD going forward...it could be inf.

Love the game much easier than blops2. The maps a old school FPS the way they should be. The color seems a little off but hopefully it will be better on the next gen. I like how the game is all about you and your gun the killstreaks are useless. No hunter killers, dogs, ac130, reapers, and swarms. I like the simplicity of it all.

LOL, well I don't know if BF4 is the best solution yet, but it can't be any worse. For example how many times have you been spawned right in front of the other team and died instantly? In BF4 you can select to at least drop in to where your team is so you have a better chance. Plus you can upgrade your vehicles too! Also you can set up our own clan server and have control over who is in and who is out. So makes it a little more fair at least.

I played Ghost on my friends PS4 and yeah, the maps are much better looking. You can actually see people down a hallway or at distance without a scope (Not across the map, burn much clearer than on the PS3).
