I think It's kinda cool to see the wide and varied skill set we have here...people from all walks of life. I don't really have anything significant to contribute here...

Dont know how much help I will be I work with all types of heavy industry machinery from printing presses up to cement factories I specalize in being able to fix all machinery down to component level so if you got a machine thats playing up and your normal sparky is scratching his head I usually end up on the case.

Wow, never thought we would have so much variety...

I was in the US Navy for a short period, but that's no help unless your upgrading to one hell of a sonar system and putting a nuclear power plant in your fishing boat.

I've been doing architecture for almost 10 years, and currently work as a project coordinator/drafter type role. However, that's also not much of use to building a deck on the back of your house of something, but if you want to put a huge grocery or retail store back there just let me know.

LMAO....Yes..I too was a Squid..for a time....and unless u need a driver for ur cruise ship I can teach nothing learned from them, but if u need help building a deck,small home ele repair,plumbing,roofing,etc...kinda of a Jack of all trades Master of NONE...LOL

Between all the housing/building trades, supplies/procurement, mech engineering, electrical, architecture, and carpentry...we could probably build a damn house...

I am certain of it. There are many of us who worked construction when we were younger. I say we get the >30< clubhouse going. We will just have to pick a central location that we can all travel too. I vote for The1's back yard since he is in Texas. I think an Over 30 Convention (30-Con) should take place. Someplace like Vegas. Just think about the possiblities. We got freaks, geeks, jocks, nerds, soldiers, music lovers, music haters, extroverts, introverts, saints, and sinners. It would be one large mash up of Sci-Fi, Sports, Fantasy, comics, music, porn, cars, alcohol, weapons, and Call of Duty. That much coolness in one room may result in the opening of the 7 seals and the end of the world.

What I do probably will not help many - I am a Security Architect. I specialize in physical security and CPTED, but I have certfications in information security (Routers, Firewalls, OS hardening) as well. Basically if you want to know how to harden or secure something I may be able to help.

Nate, I have been down with that for awhile, the everyone meeting up that is! I think Vegas would be a lot of problems, a bunch of married dudes trying to out drink and anything each other...I AM DOWN! It sure as hell won't be Texas in the summer. Vegas would be a poor choice if this did take off. Maybe Texas in the fall. I can see how the conversation would go right now between a clannie and his wife. Insert any dialouge you want for the misses.

Well I work at the Immigration and Naturalization Department from the Netherlands. So I'm kinda only helpfull if your thinking about moving here. If you have questions about living in the Netherlands I can probably answer them.

Next to that I watch/read a lot of comics/manga and see games of my team Feyenoord (dutch football team)in my free time. Hmm no other particular skill comes to mind atm
