BF3: x30x PTFO or GTFO Server Discussion

I figured after 7 pages under server rental, we should probably have a thread to discuss anything happening on the server ie: Kicks, Bans, Changing modes and such..

What prompted this was my thinking about HC mode. Would anyone be willing to give this a try one night?

yay! friendly fire to increase realism. Better be careful when throwing nades, ie don't bounce them off the door sill and back into the room when we are all stacked in the green kitchen on Bazaar. That and just randomingly firing rockets from the helicopter may be a bad thing. Target ID will be key.

Anyone else notice the randumbs that get filled into the server lately seem to be pretty low rank level?

I was wondering about that myself. Weird.

one or two rush maps? damavand peak, kharg island, or oman.

I have an entire rotation set up for Rush, any of you can change it over at any time if you like.

I did notice that. The thought came and went but perhaps they are giving the people who rent servers a "bone" by giving them fresh meat.

The Project Reality mod for BF2 was a favorite of my but I long ago gave up trying to keep a PC up to snuff to run it.

got kicked last night by an admin. suicidal afro and I were playing conquest on kharg island and two minutes into the match I get kicked by an admin. wtf. I rejoin on suicidal just to check the scoreboard and ranks. I guess the guy was afraid of the colonel rank. only one other colonel in the lobby, probably his friend. Got kicked again within a minute. the "owner" was in the lobby I messaged him saying "I'm not that good, don't be scared of the rank." Kind of weird.

Thats utter crap. Like ive said i prefer to play more experienced players as it makes myself better. I can only imagine some of the other garbage like that you can see in other rented servers. I know one SQ TDM lobby i jumped into had the rules suggested of no frag rounds/mortars/320 launchers/smaws/rpgs and a few more. Thats why i stick to our server as i just dont want to deal with admins that are overly touchy and kick happy.

OK... Some of the EUK guys are giving chatter about BF3. Could one of you BF3 Nerds send me a PM detailing the Rented Servers and how they/we can get on board.

I usually go with our server, the problem is when I get on after work. 11pst the server has very few players on it. I think there were 6 when I checked last night. I finally decided to search dice servers and was able to get into a descent one with a variety of gameplay. I jumped in to a couple of private servers and the first was 1000 tickets, that match would've taken nearly 2 hours to complete. Hey Nixon, if you're into squad rush let me know and we'll get together with darkker and tear it up along with anyone else interested.

I'd be interested in some hardcore although I've never played it before.

Definitely give a shot to friendly fire turned on for a game or two. Probably completely ruin using an LMG for full suppression effect though. I can't imagine I wouldn't hit a friend or two with it.

Manic- when you log in there should be a easy way to do it from the multiplayer menu... You have to put the disk in first…

Damn, we really need more members playing this game. The server has been full for a few hours tonight, but I haven't seen any members in the server. Had a few epic battles!! Ohh well, catch up with you guys in a couple days in between the dirty life of shift work

i've been on and off all afternoon. sixchase is in there too. must have just missed you.

We have lots of guys, but a good majority of them play post 10pm. Since the server is just over a week old, I would imagine that we will start seeing more members that play when you do.

Yeah, I'm one of those after 10est type people. I'll be on the lookout for ya Cyber.
