BF3: x30x PTFO or GTFO Server Discussion

That rush match on Damavand made me rage a bit, we were so close, last mcom, 7 tickets left and you guys blew it up.

We havent got past the first 4 maps on the server the last few nights before it empties and thats flat out disturbing. Playing conquest with less than half of a full lobby is getting pretty boring and rush with the same amount is even worse. I dont understand why all of a sudden lately nobody is coming in. We never had a problem before and no i dont think its cause we banned those PooN guys. I havent seen anything negative about the server on the battlelog forums either.

^^^I agree and think that one thing that would be good is to have the map rotation start with a couple smaller maps. This way when we first start with only a couple people we don't have to 1v1 it on Caspian for what feels like forever.

Although it may be an issue for the people who like to practice with the vehicles.

If no one wants the small maps to start we could just change to another vehicle map to change it up.

I like when I get on first and no one is on I can TRY and fly a Helicopter... but feel free to change it up. I am probably better off on the ground anyways for the team.

damavand or nosehairs are smaller maps with choppers, those could go first. nosehairs seems to fill up pretty quick because of the little birds.

bye the way, Nixon, you must've gotten two nemesis ribbons on me last night on kharg. everytime I got killed it was either you or smalls. saw you picked up my g3a3 with the dart equipped. just know I didn't use it on our server. I rarely use it, usually when I get in a lobby that someone else is using it.

We could even do Firestorm it has all the vehicles and only 3 flags so might be a little better with less people than caspian. I have been finding caspian with a few people just a race to run around flag to flag with very few or no encounters. I do like nosehairs.

I wouldn't dart on our server. well maybe once for fun.

any word on the release date for the new map pack in June?

Ive read June 5th so not that far away at all. Im thinking some more Metro time will get me ready for some CQB action. I know its going to be filled with shotties and PDWs so maybe time to level a few of them up before it comes out.

I am more interested to see what weapons are going to be released with the new DLC. I believe it was supposed to be 10 new weapons.

I'm kinda worried this DLC is going to suck and that I am going to be under suppression all the time. I don't mind the suppression so much on the current larger maps, but when they get small it might get out of hand. We'll see I guess. I also heard conquest is going to be different and there will be no rush, does anyone know if that's true?

Side Note: on the close quarters suppression thing, it seems ridiculous to me that when you're standing a foot or two in front of someone being suppressed a direct shotgun shot to the chest with buckshot or 4 shots either misses or doesn't do much damage.

A quick note about the server guys: I read alot on the forums that people dont like the combo servers, i.e. Conquest & Rush. Guys that want to play Conquest dont want to play Rush and vice versa. They tend to avoid the combo servers and if they are Conquest players, they bail when Rush comes up.

We had our server set up like that and it kept emptying out. We now have it Conquest only with 3 TDM matches, which go quickly, so when it gets full, it stays full. Getting it full is the tricky part.

I'll see if I can get my Sub1/OGz guys to hop on your server tonight and play. I havent been able to play the past few nights but I'll be on tonight and I'll see if we can help you guys fill it up.

I actually heard a few randumbs last night that jumped in say stuff like "i searched for a conquest server and this isnt conquest" so you have a point Shiznet. I realized last night with all the added rush matches i missed out on some of the other conquest maps i like to play. Even with conquest only its been so hit or miss with many nights of being basically full then all of a sudden a few nights in a row of nothing.

On the other hand, playing Rush allowed me to finally fly an A-10. That thing is the shit. LOL

I'm not a jet pilot, but even I got a kill in that thing.

I've never played some of the maps on anything but Conquest, but I was actually enjoying it. The maps and vehicles were different which was a nice change, but I can also confirm that I heard some mumblings last night about the rotation.

If you don't wanna kick, then when it's 12 spawn campers vs 6 of us, use admin to swap their top 3 players onto the weaker side. If they wanna ptfo they'll stay if they want an uneven spawn rapeathon they'll gtfo

I can do that in the future. I will move the players in question to our side to be warned verbally, if they are not receptive then I can kick. If the match is full I can or anyone can message them a warning and if they continue then kick them. I kicked one guy on seine crossing that I saw personally spawn kill and because tuna has x30x clan tag on he got hit with a bunch of messages. I agree that the spawn camping, vehicle destroying players need to be kicked, but I need to know the names so the wrong individual doesn't get thrown out. If it is a member of the clan we're playing against that gets the boot and the rest follow, oh well. If a bunch of the wrong individuals get kicked this server will have problems filling up.

I see where your coming from, but how many small groups and randoms that play for fun entered then left the 30 server because they were being spawn raped by little douchers, the worst of which rage quit when we. Won on T Highway. What kind of players is. The 30 server trying to attract?

The server is typically more populated between 8-midnight central time. Before then its hit and miss it seems (for me) and after that the US30s are typically starting to bail to grab sleep.
